In agreeing to Boehner's schedule, Obama's address will compete with the opening game of the National Football League season a conflict the White House wanted to avoid.

I won’t be watching either!
I HATE re-runs!
LOL......and now he will piss off football fans......
Michelle needs a new dress.
0bama will point the finger at Boehner for being petty in an ad with the House lights off.
We should counter with Pelosi confiscating Blackberries and turning the House lights and cameras off. And locking the doors during the 0bama Deathcare ‘negotiations.’
The puppy is adorable. The other guy...not so much. Hahahaha... :)
As if NFL fans would vote for a commie faggot muslim arch criminal who wears a helmet when riding a bicycle.
I hope that they cut into the game for his speech.
Wait.... think about it.
How does THAT work???
Kid Rock, Lady Antebellum and Maroon 5 to play before Packers opener vs. Saints
The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. EDT, an hour before kickoff, and will be shown on NBCs pregame show and on the NFL Network.
If you think that THAT was a smackdown, wait until he receives a letter from the Commissioner of Football...
Obama gets to look magnanimous and cooperative in a bipartisan way. MSM will say “Look how Obama always bends over backward to accommodate the Republicans.”
Makes me think of this: “There was just a 5.8 earthquake in Washington. Obama wanted it to be 3.4, but the Republicans wanted 5.8, so he compromised.”
Dang...I was hoping Rush Limbaugh would buy 1 hour of airtime somewhere during the Obama speech to do a show. He woulda slam-dunked everything in that timeslot. Oh well, we know he’ll be watching NFL...and assigning the Obama speech to Cookie to watch!
Should not have invited Obama at all. Tell him anywhere but here. But GOP no guts.
This was all political theater, a side show planned by Obama’s handlers to make the GOP look petulant. He will somehow slam them with being unable to look beyond their election campaigns at the bigger picture where he acts like he took the high ground. Sadly this charade will work on some people.
Bingo, we have a winner. The game is on NBC, 8:30pm Eastern. Love it!
...and too bad for Obama that he insulted the Green Bay Packers last year by rooting for Chicago. Cheese heads have a lot on their mind.
Heads exploding at DU:
"I am disappointed to my core. Hate has nothing to do with it. This is a huge, massively huge, embarrassment, again, and again we look like weak ineffectual bumblers. Three years in and this administration still hasn't got a clue."
"...bumbling incompetent idiots. This administration is setting new standards for absolute cluelessness."
"It was a massively stupid blunder that makes us look weak and incompetent."
