That’s Thursday night football, the first game of the NFL season - Green Bay vs New Orleans, in Green Bay, I’m sure. I AM OCCUPIED.
Now normally I would’ve set aside time on my calendar to listen to Mrs obuma bake a rat cake, but now I’m busy that night - for sure.
Now if Mrs. Sotero wants to move the affair to Haloween so we can watch the Muslim chop off pumpkin heads, I can fit that on my schedule - maybe.
Time to buy stock in popcorn.
Friday work is not going to be pretty. People are going to be all out angry. Just on principle.
I cant wait to see Hussain do his Princess-thing and be a half hour late and push everyone’s buttons.

Sort of fitting that NBC is the network broadcasting the NFL opening day game. NBC will get to decide if they want to drop the game (which they paid BIG bucks for the right to broadcast) to show Great Leader, or continue to show the football. Gotta love that this is NBC.
Is barry the bassturd going to pre-empt the football game, making the networks cover his spittling lies and interrupt the game?
I think it would have been better if the GOP debate were after TOTUS’s address, giving them sh!t to shovel.

Despite one's loathing of Rahm Emanuel, I am fairly certain he would not have allowed Obama to make such a rookie mistake. He would have known when Congress was coming back to town and would have made the request in a timely manner for a day of his choosing. Not this Wednesday, which won't work, but probably moved it off to next week.
Obama has burned through all the people that know how Washington works (despite not knowing how the world works) and now he is down to a bunch of community organizers, union hacks, and academics.
Yes, that makes it even more delicious....I imagine between the Obama-loving NBC and Obama-loving NFL there will be some “accommodation”....

The headlines read "Obama bows to Boehner" and "White House backs down".
If he has not already lost the media, he is on the verge of doing so. The MSM is essentially signaling their approval of a primary challenger...

Not just the fans, both the NFL and NBC have good reason to be pissed about him spoiling opening night. Opening night of NFL is reliably one of the highest rated shows out of all television programming. Would serve him right if they ran a Prozac commercial before his butt-in and an Ex-Lax commercial afterwards.
Gee, there is actually some brainwave activity over there....
Either way, NBC is caught in the middle. If Obama — a Bears fans — opts to try to overshadow the kickoff to the NFL season, and if NBC opts to televise the address to Congress on MSNBC and to proceed with the football game on NBC, the ratings could be phenomenal, given that the NFL would be the only major-network alternative for the millions of folks who have decided that the latest developments in partisan politics no longer need to witnessed live.
