James Carville: W.H. 'out of bounds' on jobs speech

Democratic strategist James Carville on Thursday called the White House “out of bounds” for requesting that the president address Congress during the same night as next week’s Republican presidential debate.

“I do think this is a really big debate and I think the White House was out of bounds…in trying to schedule a speech during a debate,” Carville said on “Good Morning America”.

The president originally asked to present his jobs plan on the evening of Sept. 7, the same night and time as the Republican presidential debate hosted by NBC and POLITICO. The scheduling broke down into a partisan showdown, with the president ultimately agreeing to speak instead on Sept. 8.

Carville said the debate, the first to feature Texas Gov. Rick Perry, will be a “barn burner.”

Remember when Carville made a big deal showing he wore PUMAS everytime he was on TV after the election.

I would love to be a fly on the wall when the Clintons and their enablers meet to eat and talk politics. You know they hate Barry!

BACK to them being idiots -do any of them know the protocol? They can’t be this arrogant or stupid can they?

Hmmm. Protocol...protocol...I seem to recall many, many instances of protocol screwups for this group.

OMG — James Carville is criticizing the Obama administration?

He's body checking for Hillary. Expect to see more of this from the Clinton camp.

The Jobs speech to Congress had 0 to do with jobs.

7 Republicans mocking him, non stop, for an hour, with the audience laughing.

It's getting bad for the Indonesian Prince. Very bad.
His first real job (Outside of Baskin Robbins) is turning into a disaster.

James Carville is now officially smarter than Karl Rove. Maybe smarter isn’t the right word ... at least he’s got a pair.

I think Obama had some exposure being an announced candidate using his office to interfere with the nomination process of his opponents.

He wants to blame everybody else again and wants to be King doing it with nothing but the required APPLAUSE sign.Even if he is announcing he is ushering in NWO or resigning this is not the venue.

Racist redneck...didn’t he get the memo from MSNBC? Questioning the President’s motives in breaking with tradition and decorum is a no-no...he’s black and you’re a racist.

I think he wants a captive audience unable to do anything while he criticizes and insults them (the Republican side).

He is going to propose something that has vast populist appeal, a chicken in every pot...40 acres and a mule kind of stuff, but that makes no sense financially or fiscally. Punitive tax hikes, revenue enhancements, on the "rich" and the evil corporations will be proposed to offset the cost. The strategic bet is that the Republicans in The House will not pass it and Obama will spend the next year campaigning against the "obstructionist" Republicans that have blocked his attempts to rescue the economy, restore world peace, cure cancer and solve world hunger.

Carville was critical of Obama another time too, during the Gulf Oil rig when Obama was slower then slow to respond. Carville was blasting Obama big time.
