In a few short weeks as a candidate, the folksy Texas governor has surged to the head of the pack seeking the 2012 Republican presidential nomination and the right to challenge President Barack Obama.
The overall direction of the party is already clear: Republicans want to cut federal spending, repeal the national health care law and reduce taxes to create jobs. The question is which candidate has the best record signaling that he or she could do all that, and the best chance of defeating Obama.
"The trick in presidential politics is exceeding expectations. Given his successful entry, expectations will be higher than usual. The onus will be on him to exceed. If he does, he can really cement his lead. If he doesn't, if the others outshine him, it throws the race back into more of a contest."

Perry ping
From the fake Tea Partys such as the one
which attacked Gov. Palin from Texas
created by RINO Romney and Hudack (and Perry?)
to the FAKE polls in Texas "informing" Gov Palin not to run
created by PerryBOTs (and Romney?)
to the rumor-fomenting Sullivans in S.C.both in bed
with RINO Romney and RINO Perry
to the anti-Gov Palin rumors from PerryBOT Ken Crow in Iowa Lying that
Gov Palin would not Run for President
(Perry and Romney?)
it is clear conservatives and America are in peril
from the backstabbing, politically crossdressing
RINOs Perry and Romney
who indeed appear to be two Rovian puppets
reeking of misogyny and dirty tricks.
Who do you see when you look in the mirror?
I have to ask because, if you see a good and righteous person, you have either been perfecrt your whole life, or come to terms that your aren't the same person who did those things that don't make you proud...
...Republicans want to cut federal spending, repeal the national health care law and reduce taxes.
What is the phrase that the GOP fails to push to the front of the line? REDUCE REGULATIONS! You can reduce taxes all you want but the American manufacturing and productive sector cannot compete with foreign competition until REGULATIONS are eased for tax decreases don’t make it easier to conduct business in this “nanny state” of our current nation.
The old GOP RINOs and lifers continue spouting “lower taxes” and have for many, many years. Sure, it will help retailers (but not AMERICAN manufacturers) in the selling of foreign made goods...not AMERICAN produced goods.
Are you declaring yourself a rabid PerryBOT?
What do the exposures of Perry’s rampant RINO behavior,
PerryBOTs’ bad behavior, and the URLs showing the
posts describing the above ... have to do with me?
Perry wants to reduce regulations and kept the regulations manageable in Texas.
But of course you know that, I noticed your tag line. I like it and agree.
“Rick Perry 2012...Be proud to be an American once again!”
“it is clear conservatives and America are in peril
from the backstabbing, politically crossdressing
RINOs Perry and Romney”
Interesting that you don’t view that America is in peril because of Obama. Looks like you might be a “politically cross dressing” (to use YOUR terminology) poster — trying to bash Perry while never uttering a word of criticism of the REAL destroyer of the country: Obama.
You might consider getting yourself a brainscan.
Run! Don't walk.
Almost every Perry thread where someone mentions substantive issues with Perry as a presidential candidate, I see these lame responses accusing the person bringing these issues up as being perfect or that they must think their candidate is perfect...
If imperfection is such a virtue, why aren’t you stumping for Obama? Add the race card to your victim card and you might have a hand ;)
Nothing about imperfection being a virtue - more about what expectations folks have for a candidate.
Who in the current field would you endorse?
IF you'd rather NOT be pinged FReepmail me.
IF you'd like to be added FReepmail me. Thanks.
There's a least a half dozen people who come on the Perry threads and they never tell us who they endorse. I wonder why?
They are almost all of them rabid PalinBots and unfortunately, she is not a candidate yet.
