Ole Miss campus, students ranked 'most beautiful (campus and students)
Memphis Business Journal..linking ^ | 9-2-11 | Staff

Posted on 09/04/2011 11:05:09 AM PDT by wardaddy

The University of Mississippi's campus — and its student body — was dubbed 'Most Beautiful' by Newsweek/Daily Beast. The Clarion-Ledger reports Ole Miss came in at No. 1 on the attractive ranking, ahead of SEC rivals University of Alabama (No. 3), University of Florida (No. 5) and University of Georgia (No. 8). "No one wants to spend four years in Uglyville," the magazine wrote, according to the report. "Newsweek crunched the numbers to determine which colleges offer it all - the most beautiful campus and the most attractive students." Newsweek rated colleges in many different categories. Rhodes College also topped one of Newsweek's list as the Memphis liberal arts institution was named Most Service Oriented. Read More at The Clarion-Ledger

The list is full of Southern univs. Which proves once again, southern women are far better looking than northern dykes which pass of as “women”. FYI, ole Miss better not change their mascot due to pc crap.

So, in other words, they go to Ole Miss so that they won't become an ole miss.

I went to college to learn. Imagine that! What the campus or people looked like was, to me, a no never mind.

What an insipid and silly article.

The list is here: http://www.thebestcolleges.org/most-beautiful-campuses/.

The title of the article is rather misleading as Old Miss comes in 28th on the list.

The list itself is rather suspect, IMHO, as it ranks Harvard (11th) ahead of Mr. Jefferson's University(17th). William and Mary at #8 is also a bit of a surprise to me. (I don't have degrees from any of these, but I have walked their grounds more than once each. I have attended quite a few classes as an adult at UVa.)

I did my freshman year in Texas, then the rest of my college time in Pennsylvania. Southern women are definitely more beautiful (or at least they work at it harder!!!) than Northern women. I think beauty is directly proportional to the lack of feminist propaganda...

Some Ole Miss Southern charm:

I have long studied female pulchritude and have some strong opinions on the subject.

I personally would rate the University of Georgia at the top but that is based on only a few visits to Athens. Overall, I think South Carolina has the most gorgeous girls in the world.

All states from the old South would be right near the top. I also would include the Southern halves of Illinois, Indianna, and Ohio.

One of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen was while I was driving between Hattiesburg and Jackson, MS. I stopped to get the tank filled and was about to pump it myself when this girl came out turned on the pump.

I used to stop in Russelville, AR several times a year. That little town probably had the highest proportion of babes anywhere.

I grew up in the Florida Panhandle and there were two girls in my high school who were simply physically perfect. I recently looked them up in my old yearbook and sure enough, they looked just as good as I remembered. Both had Scottish names.

Its the southern woman's skin that makes their beauty. Lots and lots and lots of humidity i the air.

I grew up in West Texas and So. Cal. a redhead who never going to tan only wrinkle. My girls who were raised in Memphis have the most gorgeous complexion. One is 43 and people actually stop her on the street to tell her how beautiful she is. whew

Can't fault your geographic study as a region the south and Midwest can't be beat. The nexus of the two is Kentucky.

I’m sure there’s a cause and effect relationship between the “beauty of the campus” and the achievement of the graduates.

Amen to that. The worst place I can remember for good looking women was New Orleans. I will qualify this by saying I lived there for 5 yrs some time ago and I attributed this problem to inbreeding, it could have improved.

I have never been to New Orleans tho I have been close many times. That does make me recall one of those girls whose looks will always be in my mind.

She had a French name and I guess looked French as she had black hair and black eyes. She lived in one of those old mansions on Government Street in Mobile. She was short, probably about 5’1”. Really a sweet little girl.

I once saw her in a tennis outfit and her figure was just as good as her face. One odd thing is she wasn’t Catholic but Southern Baptist.

Back in the late 60's the lower Canal Street area was the place to be at lunch time.

It was almost as if there was a competition among the stenos as to who could wear the shortest mini-skirts.

Never lived in the Big Easy but I knew where to be around noon.

Kinda depends on where you're looking.

Coyote Ugly is always available in any city. That's a given.

I'm talking about an ordinary guy like myself being able to score with a pretty one...and Mobile is where it worked out best.

*Believe me, I had to have the odds really stacked in my favor.

Hm...highly doubtful results. From the University of Washington you can see Mount Rainier, Lake Washington, all types of boats, the Space Needle, the Cascade Mountain range, the Olympic Mountain Range, and a floating bridge. And the entire campus is like a park. No campus I know of can even come close to that.

Interesting.

The attractiveness of coeds is based on Popcrunch and College Prowler rankings.

Popcrunch's #2 Hottest Women, Arizona State, aren't even in the top 270 according to College Prowler (behind Yale, NYU, Harvard, and Wellesley, among others). Has College Prowler every been to Arizona State?

And Popcrunch ranks Auburn women #7 for the second straight year and leaves University of Alabama women out of the Top Ten; College Prowler also doesn't rank Auburn women in the top 270.

These Popcrunch and College Prowler polls are obviously scientific, given how close they are in their conclusions.

Everywhere I went in the Navy all the old salts couldn't talk enough about the beauties in SC.
