Wild pigs use their snouts to root up the ground in search of food, including roots, fungus, and other items. As omnivores, they also consume garden landscape plants and agricultural crops.

LOL. Yes they are.

BTW, my dog loves snuffling grubs out of soil I dig in the yard.

Power has been going off and on here ever since the wind picked up from the storm in the gulf. Usually just goes off for a second or two, but has been down for a half hour or so a couple of times.

I am wondering about the Sig .357 swap-in barrel for my P229 .40 cal. The .40 is a pleasure, a beautiful thing to shoot, smooth and perfect for the size and weight, very comfortable for me. I understand the sig .357 load is a lot hotter and wonder how the 229 behaves with it. Any Freepers experience on it? I think it would be a nice option for self defence load, although pricey and more horsey than I want to routinely deal with at the range.

Also, any experience out there with the 229E Generation 2? My son has recently passed his CCW class and when he turns 21 shortly he has informed me that he is going to claim my P229 as his inheritance. So I am thinking of the 229E Gen 2 (I like the grip), and adding the .357 barrel kit as an option to the .40 cal base weapon. Any advice welcome.
