Saif al-Islam told Kara he would speak in Jerusalem like Sadat in exchange for reduced pressure from NATO and Europe on Libya.
Saif al-Islam Gaddafi offered to sign a peace treaty with Israel and to negotiate captive soldier Gilad Schalits release in exchange for reduced pressure from NATO and Europe on Libya, Deputy Minister for Galilee and Negev Development Ayoub Kara told The Jerusalem Post on Sunday.
Saif al-Islam and I have mutual acquaintances in Austria. Long before the whole mess in Libya, I asked them to talk to him about Gilad Schalit, because the Gaddafis are close with [Hamas leader Khaled] Mashaal, Kara said.
About a month ago, he remembered me and told his friends that he would tell Mashaal to release Schalit, sign a treaty with Israel, and even give a speech in Jerusalem like [Egyptian president Anwar] Sadat, the Druse minister explained.
I said that I would be willing to talk to him to help Gilad, and Saif al-Islam thought this would get rid of European and NATO pressure on Libya.

If he is so keen to making peace, helping resolve an overwhelmingly egregious social injustice in gaining the release of Gilad, where’s he been all this time? His patronage of Israel as means for influencing NATO, Europe smacks of the worst sort of canard that Jews hold the lever to global power, influence and that all that has to be done to save himself is to yield to Israel, Jews.
In other news Saif said he would sleep with a Jew if NATO would stop bombing his ass.
Saif al-Islam Gaddafi offered to sign a peace treaty with Israel and to negotiate captive soldier Gilad Schalit's release in exchange for reduced pressure from NATO and Europe on Libya...That shows that A military pressure works on the Muzzie states, and B that NATO doesn't give a crap about Schalit, his release, or peace for Israel, they are pro-jihadist.
