Colorado School Comes Under Fire for Hanging Saudi Flag Higher Than American Flag September 05, 2011
An elementary school in Colorado has come under criticism after they lowered the American flag and elevated a Saudi Arabian flag. The principal at Bauder Elementary School in Fort Collins said they did not mean to disrespect the American flag, according to a report in the Greeley Gazzette.
Principal Brian Carpenter told the newspaper that the American flag was immediately returned to its proper and prominent position at the school. He explained that other flags are posted around the school to recognize the nationalities of students from other countries.
A photograph showing the raised Saudi flag alongside the lowered American flag was first posted on the Greeley Report, a local blog. It generated lots of local debate. “We realize this is an extremely sensitive time with us getting close to the 10th anniversary of 9/11," Carpenter told the Gazzette.

I used my saudi flag for a doormat until it got worn out.
Know of anyplace to purchase Saudi flag toilet paper? My oldest basset is starting to need a little help. Oh, and that principal’s home address so I can send the little soiled flags for him to place on the ground and roll around in ecstasy.
Look at the Greely Gazzette article. The American flag is not lower than the Saudi flag it is bowed in a form of salute or subjugation.......this principle knew exactly what the hell he was doing.
Treason comes so natural to these people they actually have to force themselves to act American when the circumstances are warranted.
That in itself is a foolish policy. Students of other nationalities, who should be on a legal pathway to American citizenship as a requirement to attend an American public school, should not be reminded of their past by these flags, but rather exposed continuously to American culture, values, and symbols - including the Stars and Stripes. Other than perhaps on special occasions, flags of foreign nations should have no place in American public schools, and certainly don't belong merely as a feel-good gesture toward immigrant youngsters.

unless maybe this was a one day thing. or a one week thing. I could see a school trying to encourage students to learn about the world by first showing all the foreign flags of every ethnicity of every student. But someone screwed up bad when they raised one of the flags higher than the US flag.
Idiot. NO Flag is ever posted higher then the American Flag.
And he is in charge of our children?? If kids are in an American school in an American city the only flag that they should see is the American flag and the State Flag.
Zero tolerance - fire the principal! Ignorance of the rules is no excuse. After all, they suspend students who wear a t-shirt with the American flag on it, saying zero tolerance etc. Sick of these traitors running our schools.
