To: My Favorite Headache
Since the beginning of the wildfire season, Texas firefighters have dealt with more than 20,900 fires that have destroyed more than 1000 homes and burnt out at least 1.4 million hectares of land.

Man, we need some rain. It's gonna get worse.

The only thing going for Bastrop is the proximity of local lakes for the helicopter buckets.

There’s part of the problem-——who the bleep started measuring Texas land in “hectares”??? Is the United Nations involved? That’s gotta be a guy who’s never seen a Texas ranch or any other ranch for that matter.
