She was the White House intern who found fame for all the wrong reasons.
Now, 17 years later, Monica Lewinsky is still trying to play down her scandalous affair with then-President Bill Clinton.
She is single, her line of handbags failed to catch on and, according to the National Enquirer, is living the life of a near recluse.

Her handbags didn't catch on, but apparently her funbags caught the eye of one president. In England they have "by appointment to the royal family" or some such endorsement. Wonder if she could get Slick Willie's endorsement.

She’s “trying to play down her scandalous affair”... uh, guess that’s not working. Sorry, Monica, when you decided to participate with the married POTUS in the Oval Office.. you gave up any sort of freedom from the public eye. Unfortunately, some scandals stay with a person and for their lifetime. Sad in a way that when she passes, her obit will include this info.
Fifteen minutes of fame, a slang term that will be instantly recognized by at least one generation, and a place in the long line of women used and discarded by the biggest low-life ever to occupy the Oval Office.
What a shock!
In a moral society everyone would know that this is exactly how it works out 99% of the time -- and so more women would say "thanks, but no thanks".
