At American Majority, we believe that real political change begins at the local level.
It is going to take engaged citizens working together in their communities to effectively implement freedom on a national level. We believe that individual liberty will only be achieved through limited government and free markets and that by training candidates and activists to be effective towards those goals today, we will enhance tomorrow.
American Majority is a national non-profit, non-partisan political training institute whose mission is to train and equip a national network of leaders committed to individual freedom through limited government and the free market. Headquartered in Purcellville, Virginia, we currently have state offices in Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and Texas, with plans to open additional state offices in 2011. Beyond our state offices, we also have certified trainers (Mechanics) across the country who train activists in their local community.
Our organizational philosophy remains centered around the grassroots. We work hard to ensure our premier training programs are accessible to activists and candidates around the country. Since our inception in 2008, we have held hundreds of trainings in dozens of states, providing resources and education to thousands of candidates and grassroots activists.

Conducted 238 trainings that have identified and trained 614 candidates, bringing their total impact to over 1,200 candidates...
Trained over 9,000 new activists that have led the march to elected principled conservatives to office....

This is not some "pie in the sky" idea void of any execution. Take not of the story fo the housewife from Arkansas who was recently trained by American Majority.
Using the training she received from American Majority, she took on a 16-year incumbent on teh school board there and beat him.
...in Oklahoma, American Majority identified and trained 27 city council candidates. Of those, 17 ran and won. And, of those 17, only one of them had previously run for office!
And, remember the union thug tactics that were on display in Wisconsin recently? It was American Majority and their trained activists that helped organize counter protests and stop Big Labor from hijacking the taxpayers of Wisconsin.
They are taking on the Alinsky-ites, doing CONSERVATIVE community and candidate organizing! :)
I'm going to give to them...Jim DeMint's endorsement gives me a lot of confidence it is, though "non-partisan", a group that stands for conservative values.
I hope some other FREEPers will join me.
Heck, some of us might want to GET training from them and run for local office!!
It's about time...
Sorry, but unless we go back to the precinct voting booth and hand hand count the ballots,l we will never vote the bounders out and put real Americans for America back in@ Vote by mail, government manipulated computer ballot counting is NOT THE WAY TO GO. But who is going to take the time and effort to to change the way we now vote?
Yeah, let’s just drive off a cliff and end it all.
