Just hours before President Barack Obama addresses a joint session of Congress on his jobs plan, Rep. Marxine Waters (D-Calif.) is demanding the nations first African-American president prove he cares as much about unemployed blacks as he does about Iowas swing voters.
There are roughly 3 million African Americans out of work today, a number nearly equal to the entire population of Iowa. I would suggest that if the entire population of Iowa, a key state on the electoral map and a place that served as a stop on the presidents jobs bus tour were unemployed, they would be mentioned in the presidents speech and be the beneficiary of targeted public policy, Waters said in a statement to POLITICO on Thursday.

She has no leverage. Blacks will vote for Obama no matter what.
I suspect there is more to her flapping her loud mouth as of late.
“I honestly ( and maybe naively) believe we are on the cusp of a Conservative revival.”
I hope and pray you’re right.
What about black Iowans?
Describes exactly how my sister and her family in Houston feel as constituents of that nutjob twin to Maxine, whose name escapes me at the moment.
oooohhh...it is gettin’ UGLEEEE out there!
Betcha when he decided to fire up the race war
Barry never expected he would be Target Numero Uno...
Sheila Jackson Lee -
I LIKE it that these racist Marxists are speaking out.
To defeat the left, expose the left.
Let everyone know what they stand for, preferably from their own mouths.
Definitely a many stepped program
Start by securing borders if another ‘Ellis Island’ facility is needed, do it.
Go after employers of illegals- that includes private hirers of baby sitters, personal gardeners, maids etc etc, not only corporations.
Get ‘free money’ programs that are out of control, under control.
Overhaul the Social Security cash cow - no need for people 25 years old drawing ANYTHING from the Social Security fund.
Drug, alcohol, aids are, for the most part, self inflicted maladies - if an exception has to be made, fine.
Even if they went to paying YOUR SS benefits to a surviving spouse at 65 or to minor children to 18 it would be a lot cheaper than the BS that is going on now.
Overhaul the welfare/food stamp/school lunch etc programs to just include the neediest.
We all believe in ‘common sense’ and although a job at say McDonalds may not be acceptable to a person, use it as a base and make up the difference (for a livable wage) with public money.
If the public trough (for the most part) dries up, jobs open up by the ‘removal’ of illegals, then you can work on the jobless problems.
If a person can say ‘draw’ 700 tax free a week from various programs etc, why go out and work at say asphalt for 10-15 taxable per hour?
How about us older white construction workers.
Its getting rough out here in the private sector.
Iowans or blacks?”
How about Americans?
They don’t see it that way.
Dear Maxine
Where else ya gonna go? Take it and like it, sweetie.
Love,
Obama
She got da honky-tonk blues.
You go girl..if she keeps it up..I may send her $5..
“Perhaps no black lawmaker has been as vocal as Waters in criticizing the president on employment matters. But she has long been popular in her Los Angeles district, and may feel that she has more freedom to push Obama without risking a backlash from African-American voters who flinch at the prospect of hurting him politically.”
If this doesn’t illustrate the F’d up racism of the black community, then nothing will.
Oh, I know. I just thought I’d spit that out at her anyway. Vent my frustration, if you will.
Thank you. Yes, Sheila Jackson Lee is the forgettable idiot whom I had in mind.
How far do the black racists think they can push their agenda before there is white backlash? It is coming....
Last night my neighbor informed me that if Obama loses, it is because he is black. I replied, that being black is the only reason he got elected with no qualifications. And he denied it, so I pointed out that at least two people had told me they were voting for him because it was about time we had a black President. I personally think that will not be an issue in 2012 and thus he will lose because the sympathy for the blacks vote has already been done.
