Protesters storm EGT grain terminal in Washington state (local ILWU chapter Gone Wild!)

CHICAGO (Reuters) - More than 500 protesting port workers stormed the EGT grain terminal at the Port of Longview, Washington, on Thursday and damaged railcars and other property, Longview Police Chief Jim Duscha said.

The incident came a day after several of Longshoremen were arrested after blocking a train from arriving at the newly constructed facility owned by EGT, LLC, which is a joint venture of Bunge Ltd, ITOCHU International Inc and STX Pan Ocean Inc.

Early on Thursday, the protesters stormed the EGT facility, smashed guard shack windows, pushed a security vehicle into a ditch, cut brake lines on several rail cars and dumped grain from some cars onto the ground, Duscha said.

...

The union said it had an agreement with the Port of Longview that required the hiring of workers from the local ILWU chapter to man the facility. EGT planned to hire workers from a different union.

"We fully support prosecution of this criminal behavior to the fullest extent under the law," EGT CEO Larry Clarke said. "Issues between EGT, the Port, and the ILWU should be resolved peacefully in a court of law."

ILWU spokesman Roy San Filippo said it was a "wildcat action" that was not sanctioned by the union.

Illegal Labor is the Feds out for preserving the status quo regarding Taxes and Regulation..

Predatory tax and regulatory policies-actions that basically serve to perpetuate and grow governments-leave what business is left in the country seeking disposable labor.

Union Labor..as long as it involves the corporatist companies that are part of the fascist government gets to enjoy some degree of the illusion of privilege-as long as it is willing to function as the hammer to those organizations refusing to support the fascists.

I believe we’re seeing the first “bubbles” in the boiling pot that is going to be an attempted violent communist revolution.

What they REALLY want is for someone to fight back,
so they have an excuse to bring in the gov’t goonsquads.

I worked the docks, and associated off dock support business for 35 years including a stint for awhile in the seventies as a member of the ILWU.

The vast majority of those involved in this “wildcat action” were probably typical of a specific sector of that union that actually aren’t very well respected by much of the other membership, however as I said the alleged leadership we have in D.C. today in the form of Obama, and his radical Leftist, Marxists allows some of the mouthier, power drunkards in the leadership of the unions to believe they can get away with anything they want, and they will be protected by Obama, Holder, etc., thus they encourage the scum sector of the union to act like what they are.

One can tell who these power drunkards are simply by standing, and quietly watching the body language of the individuals as they strut the piers, and encourage followers to sit for their court, or worship at their feet.

So, what you’re saying is that this is an ILWU failure; they’re unwillingness to clean house has enabled the formation of a manifest public nuisance that is now a clear and present danger to the community.

Guards need to arm up, and if this $H!+ happens again, unlimber the long guns and cut the SOBs in f$%King half.

What we need is leadership that enforces constitutional law, thus sets the example that says “you aren’t going to get away with being a thug creating harm to society, so don’t try it”.

Today we have “leadership” that says to the thugs “we support you”.

Watch out for Scarves in the Headwind. It can be quite unnerving.
