Obama Urges Congress to Pass $450 Billion Jobs Plan (American Jobs Act)
FoxNews ^ | 9/8/11

Seeking to boost a slumping economy along with his hopes for re-election, President Obama unveiled his $450 billion jobs plan Thursday night in a highly-anticipated speech to a joint session of Congress.

The American Jobs Act contains a blend of infrastructure spending, tax relief, unemployment assistance and other aid. All the proposals are paid for with spending cuts although the president isn’t expected to detail them until next week.

“There should be nothing controversial about this piece of legislation,” Obama said in excerpts released by the White House ahead of his speech. “Everything in here is the kind of proposal that’s been supported by both Democrats and Republicans – including many who sit here tonight."

He only wanted 300 Billion Yesterday, I have heard of Inflation but this is ridiculous, where does he think Congress is going to get the money. I hope they come up with it, as I am a long time gold and silver bug, and all of that extra money doesn't do a thing but devalue the fiat currency.

One of our cable channels showed film “newsclips” from 1933 yesterday. Among them were 1) some FDR addresses to the nation - which almost exactly mimicked the Obamaloon (we’re not creating enough jobs, we’ll spend to make them, we’ll hire more...etc...etc...), then 2) some union thugs taking over some minds and associated violence.

Now, read today’s news about those unions in Washington state...and the Loon’s upcoming speech spouting tried and failed ideas.

Deja vu all over again.

Oh, and let’s throw in that supposed “creditable threat” on 9/11.

Hmmmmmmmm......

How many times does this bozo have to pull this same trick before people caught on that there are no details.

We know what your about and that stinky old nasty dog just don't hunt here. You are going donw in history as the WORST president, that will be your legacy and a stigma worse than Walter MOndale's.

The media has built this speech up for weeks and weeks. We were all waiting during his vacation and endless golf games for him to reveal this great plan for new jobs. Didn’t he have a chance for his job proposals to pass when Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid were in control? Now it is nothing more than a trick or treat speech to blame Republicans for everything under the sun. He may blame Bush more. He should change his name to OBlameo

And it’s all paid for!!!!

This idiot has no f’in clue how to pay for it, so he dumps it on the super-committee to solve the spending problem.

Pass it now, and we’ll get back to the Americans on how it will be funded later.

FUBO

This so-called “Act” is wrongly named by Obama.

The correct name for this is “The America Gets Job’d Act”.

And its been that way since he took office.
