Obama's jobs speech was reminiscent of a cliché scene in cowboy movies. A loud mouth guy stands on the steps of the jail-house and enrages the crowd to overrule the sheriff, drag out the prisoner and hang him without a trial.
Obama used his bully pulpit to say, in essence, if those Republican S.O. Bs do not pass my jobs bill immediately without review, they should be politically lynched. Unquestionably, Obama's speech had a bully edge to it. Pass my jobs bill NOW!
Obama lied about all of the freebies in his jobs bill being “paid for” just as he did to pass Obamacare.
In his typical manipulative deceptive fashion, Obama said several “right things” such as government getting out of the way of small business while his administration does the complete opposite.
The center piece of Obama's speech was his despicable signature exploitation of class envy and demoni-zation of the rich. Obama in his speech reduced the American Dream to being a union worker with good wages and benefits. Obviously, Obama considered entrepreneurs with higher aspirations to be part of the problem. How dare they seek to have more than anyone else? To each according to his needs. Scary. Very scary and evil.
As expected, Obama's job speech was written using the left's same old play book. We Tea Party patriots knew what Obama was going to say in his “jobs speech” before he delivered it.
OK class, what will be Obama's minions next move to force Republicans to pass his jobs bill NOW? I hear you yelling the correct answer. You guys are toooo cool, tooo smart and right on target! I give you all an A+. Obama's minions will proclaim everyone questioning Obama's job bill to be racist.
Folks, this president is divisive and evil. We must vote him out in 2012. God bless.

I’d say worst was his claim America was not built by individual achievement. He is an unreformed socialist/marxist/idiot.
My wife was visiting one of her clients, an elderly black woman, when the speech was on. They watched it together. When it was over, the woman said, “We have to do everything we can to get rid of him before he destroys the entire country”. I hope this is a trend among blacks.

I didn’t watch it, but from this morning’s reading I gather that his plan boils down to: tax cuts, hire some teachers, welfare-to-work, and an infrastructure slush fund.

I’d really wish someone could get that first point of yours through the opportunistic skull of Willard Romney.
He’s definitely not right in the head. Watching and listening to him was downright creepy.... and scary. Dictatorial in my opinion.

We are fortunate that he’s not an Erwin Rommel, Henry Ford or Winston Churchill. He’s not even a Bill Clinton. (Thank goodness.) If he were a Bill Clinton, he’d have read the tea leaves and tacked to the left-of-center. From there Obama would continue to incrementally (bipartisanly) move us further towards socialism. Instead, he attempted to make the leap from our national present left-of-center to full 1917 Russian revolution in one term. If I can mix metaphors, he raised the temperature of the frog’s water too quickly and the frog is about to jump out of the pan. Unfortunately, it will take the frog some 450 days to jump completely and the frog is likely to suffer some injury in that remaining time.

I remember the posts of a FReeper named Quidam. He is still on the rolls but has no posts shown. As I recall, he had info on the Clinton folks that none of the rest of us had. He would provide all sorts of juicy tid bits.
IIRC He told us about the visits to the White House of the seven gray heads in gray suits. I think it is reasonable to think the Messiah will get such a visit soon after Christmas. The message will be that betrayal and crucifixion is in the wind. His best course is to announce he will not run and just fade back into the wilderness.
I don’t Bubba ever actually got such a visit , but it seems likely the Messiah will.
I, too, have been counting the days till Election Day and the inauguration--something I have never done before, not even during the Carter years.
If Barack Obama’s speech was a “Jobs Plan”, then every beauty pageant contestant’s breathless wish for “world peace” is a “Peace Plan.”

If Obama really wanted to stimulate job growth, he should have announced his resignation. Had he done so, the Dow would be up 3,000 points today.
Obama is a little boy with both hands in an empty cookie jar, and he is having a tantrum because he wants more cookies. It will never end with him. Congress can’t beat him with a stick, so they should do the next best thing. Ignore him.
The $450 billion is for preservation of union jobs, and a guaranteed slush fund for the campaign Obama launched last night. The manboy could care less about the America he has been taught to hate since he was a toddler.
