>>>You are shilling for a rino. Its not a personal attack its an observation of your behavior.<<<

to call Perry a rino is an opinion, and the word has been bandied about to the point that it means nothing, so it’s irrelevent.

shill is a derogatory term.

http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/shill

To say that I promote Perry is fine, I do.

To say I shill for Perry is false, and since it derogates me personally, it’s a personal attack. You don’t have to admit it, and to deny it defines you.

I’m not not even going to address the nonsense about reducing Sarah’s chances.

Perry’s actions and his own words and who support him/pay his way make him a rino.

His ways are the establishment’s ways. There are no two ways about it.

Your support of Perry is bordering on creepy.

Isn't the Mayor of Houston a liberal? And yes, apples to oranges- how silly to even compare the two- on your part.

Did the mayor of Houston accomplish all Palin did in her first two years?

Last I heard the mayor of Houston is a liberal lesbian but I don't know how that would affect the responsibilities of the office. I also haven't kept up with her or her accomplishments or lack of. I was talking about job descriptions, not personalities..

You said, Did the mayor of Houston accomplish all Palin did in her first two years?

I said, the Houston mayor has a harder job with more responsibility's that you can't compare accomplishments.

There is a difference in dealing with oil and gas and dealing with public transportation--light rail and buses, public works, infrastructure, a police force larger than Alaska's law enforcement, a budget greater than Alaska's --would be my guess, and the New Black Panthers, the Port of Houston...to mention a few differences.

Just proves you weren't really a Palin supporter.

I wanted her to run for POTUS but was never a rabid member of the Palin cult that has emerged.

I thought it was tacky of her to show up trying to get attention but not sticking her neck out.

Sarah Palin has been sticking her neck out ever since Obama came in to office. She was on point on nearly every issue opposing Obama. You may remember her column in the Wall Street Journal pointing out Obamacare death panels, right? If you are interested in who didn't stick their neck out, you can start with all the announced candidates for president except for MIchele Bachmann.

Sarah is a celebrity, people go to her rallies but how many would vote for her? I don't have a clue.

She is a celebrity, definition; NOUN: pl. ce·leb·ri·ties A famous person. Renown; fame. but that doesn't mean she isn't a serious political force, too. People go to rallies she speaks at because she IS the draw. Don't have a clue? Get one! :)

I don't think she has said anything I haven't heard before. The media gives her more attention than they give the real candidates.

How many politicians do you hear that want to tackle crony capitalism? That's only one issue. If you study her, you'll find a lot more areas she differs from others. The Media's template on Sarah Palin is that she is dumb as dirt. They follow her around because they just know she'll do or say something they can attack her on. It isn't working out to well for them, is it? Also, Palin is much more interesting than the "real" candidates, who are dull, dull, dull.

Most people I know are not thinking about POTUS candidates that much. At our past 2 Repub meetings we've had state and Congressional candidates talk... no mention of POTUS candidates even in small talk.

Then why all the concern because she won't come out and announce her intent to run..RIGHT NOW if not yesterday? People aren't paying attention. They will the day she announces, though. Bet on it.

I like Rubio so I don't have a horn to toot! He isn't ready yet either.

Rubio is a great asset in the Senate. He may or may not be president material. Time will tell. I hope he does.

FReepers think about it more than "normal" people. LOL!

Most people don't give a rats ass about politics. It's the FReepers and other "involved" citizens that do the grunt work in election campaigns. FreeRepublic is a great place to self-educate and learn from each other as a group. FReepers are quite normal but also above average.

That is just plain ignorance. An elementary study of Palin's bio would do you wonders. Give it a try. Until then, I have nothing else to say.

All Sarah does is talk! If she hasn't decided by now whether or not to run for POTUS, she shouldn't!

She accomplishes more to move the national debate in our direction merely by talking than the rest of the GOP combined.

All Perry does is channel his inner Jonathan Edwards.

Let's try out the name "Silky Shetland" for Perry.

Cheers!

I agree with everything you say. However, I have stopped telling them to a select few here who think Palin is the One. you and I (and some others) know she is not going to run, and we know why (the hot potato point you said; she is stupid but not THAT stupid), but what’s the point? We can yell but tomorrow she may announce. We all know the money bombs and the surge in polls ain’t gonna happen...but trying telling it so her fans here.. Ann Coulter said it best, people will soon hate Palin for her fans. Some people here won’t believe until day of inauguration that she is not going to be POTUS in 2012. I for once want her to announce, run, fold her campaign and go back to Alaska. If not, two things will happen which I dread: 1. She will continue to be in the limelight and be the tease and/or 2. her fans here will say she didnt run cause she had the security of her family to think about (as if anybody cares).

Paraphrasing Ann Coulter: The only polls that count are when people actually vote.
Ronald Reagan announced his presidential candidacy in November 1979. Look at how many GOP candidates have fallen to the wayside and it’s only September 2011. Think about all the millions Romney has wasted and he’s never moved the needle.
When Gov. Palin enters the race it will be the conservative vs. the Bilderberg RINO. Are you looking forward to McCain II?
On the good side, the GOP presidential candidates, except Romney, will make great Cabinet members

To 2 - We won't. That's why RICK PERRY will be our next POTUS.

Aside: Love how the drones go silly over an MSM article positive of Palin but if an MSM article is negative, even slightly so, it's "don't let the MSM pick our candidate!"
Ann Coulter: spot on in reagard to Palin fanatics.

I've read her book and watched the documentary. Contrary to what you people think, Sarah Palin is not the second coming! You're as bad as Obama worshippers!

Until then, I have nothing else to say.

Good. That is how you can best help her because your ignorance has unintended consequenses. It turns people off!
