Governor Palin: Ten Years Ago

Posted on September 11 2011 - 11:28 AM - Posted by:

Via Facebook:

Ten years ago today, ordinary Americans went to work or boarded a plane and found themselves fighting on the frontlines of a battle they did not choose. They acquitted themselves with grace and courage, just as the thousands of men and women who enlisted to fight in our armed forces—many on the anniversaries of this day—in order to exact justice for their fellow Americans. We will never forget those who died ten years ago today, we will never forget those who died in the war that started on that day, and we ask God to comfort and bless their families. From across this great nation, grateful Americans honor those who defend our homeland. God bless America.

Facebook would have pulled it if she mentioned Islam.

They have pulled several of mine for that reason.

I personally have the deepest respect for all the hero NY firefighters who gave their lives while performing their duty on 9/11 and all our heroic military who did the same thereafter, but I know that this solemn day of mourning was also a reason to celebrate for many muslims.

I have personally witnessed Arab students on a US university campus hi-five each other after the towers came down. I have seen in 1986 in Saudi how Arab engineers (graduates of US universities) hi-fived each other when our shuttle exploded.

I am afraid that for every tear shed, every prayer said and every sad story retold on TV, cheers went up behind closed doors and in mosques right here in our own country.

I know, I am childish and irresponsible not to fall down on my knees and worship the ground Mrs. Palin walks on, but I just can’t. Besides, as of yet she has not committed herself.

When I think of Palin, I can’t help thinking of that old goat McCain — the two are intractably connected. McCain sold us out but Palin was his willing accomplice. In fact she supported him in 2010 again when he ran for the Senate in AZ.

How could McCain not challenge Obama’s eligibility in 2008 when he had access to Bambi’s background data via FBI and CIA files? Didn’t McCain want to know exactly who he was running against? Was he that naive? By association, Palin is as naive as McCain. Didn’t she want to know who her boss was running against?

I truly wish Palin well with her book tour and I sincerely wish her success with all her future endeavors — I just don’t think she is POTUS material.

Will you forgive me now? Pretty please?
