The U.S. and Turkey are discussing how to continue cooperation against terrorist targets in northern Iraq after U.S. forces leave Iraq in December, including the possibility of basing Predator drones in Turkey, a U.S. official said Sunday. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he wasn't authorized to discuss the matter publicly. The U.S. currently is sharing Predator surveillance data with Turkey as part of a joint effort to combat the Kurdistan Workers' Party, or PKK, which the U.S. considers a terrorist group and whose fighters have launched cross-border attacks into Turkey from northern Iraq. The Predators, capable of transmitting

(I think I'll start building my bomb shelter...)
I thing they should consider basing basters there too.
Turkey and Egypt are no longer allies. What will it take to prove that to this administration?
The list, ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Wrong move again by this lame ass idiot-ridden administration. =.=
US considering basting Turkeys in what???
“I thing they should consider basing basters there too.”
Turkey Basters. Hmmmmm. It just might work. Look up land grab in the dictionary...
I’m thinking that perhaps it is time to support the Kurds and not the worthless Turks.
he said blasting, blasting Turkeys predators.
they could base some Predators on our southern border...
Lets save ourselves some money and just send the blue prints and technical specifications directly to terrorists and our other enemies.
Putting Predators in a country that is turning hostile.
What could go wrong?
There will be so much to be undone come Jan 2013.
All your bases are belong to us??
Some of us have been keeping a list....
Ah, we had one pro-American region in the entire Middle East outside of Israel: Kurdistan. This will end that.
My question is, what do we get from Turkey in return for killing Kurds for them? Nothing. It’s an insane policy and shouldn’t even be contemplated.
Turkey is apparently under the rule of a man who believes the world will end in 2038. He is apparently as backward and deranged as Iran’s Ahmedinijad and Turkey is threatening acts of war against our strongest ally in the region, Israel. What the hell is wrong with our government and military that we would even consider supplying leading-edge military technology to this country?
How 'bout we gather up our world-wide marbles and come home?
Protect ourselves, protect our true allies, develop our own resources...and stop trying to pacify and peaceify people who want us dead!
Geesh! Why is this so difficult?
You were almost right. Turkey is NOT a friend of the US, they are,on the other hand a friend of the administration.
Turkey turned on ISRAEL so now he wants to ARM a Israel hating country.
Obummer is a Muzzie.......
More from this communist government making army weapon stations and giving bigger and better missile weapons in islamic countries for the terrorists.
Obama is becoming very adept at this sort of sellout.
It’s the Turks that are terrorist threat. They are intent on aiding the PA against Israel which could be a big problem after the UN vote on PA independence. The PA will declare independence and ask for Turkish help no matter what the outcome of the vote. The Israelis are considering helping the Kurds and Armenians right now.
Maybe the drones could be made to remotely self destruct if Turkey behaves badly.
Heh heh heh ... it’s twue what they say about your turkey basters!
Do not trust turdkey, they are NOT our friends.
we on this site all know this is not just a bad idea, it is part of the nobama muslim caliphate plan. but the rest of the USA either won’t be aware of it, or will think, ‘this is good, we are playing nice’ with turkey.

where the roto-reuters reporter calls turkey a vital USA ally, when the true description is, as WePledge pointed out, is that turkey is a vital ally of ‘the administration’.
It’s just the first step in Obama’s proxy war against Israel.
