Fortunately for me, I’ve had a special (and I think somewhat unique) relationship with God since I was a little boy.

Ahh, mmmmkay.

All Believers have a special and unique relationship with God.

“Where was God on 9/11?”

Whispering in Todd Beamer’s ear: “Let’s roll!”

Yes, but that is not how it comes off in the context of the peice. The author is claiming to be a prophet.

As a rhetorical device it isn't such a good idea, unless you goal is to get 98% of your audience to tune out.

Flight 93 and the heroes on that plane make me cry...their courage was extraordinary.

Exactly. Because God created each of us as special and unique, and our relationship with Him is equally unique.

No problem with the author's comment.

no he is not claiming to be a prophet. I see no evidence of things to come in the author’s article. Why are you here if you do not believe in God?

He claimed no such thing.

I do believe in God. But I do not believe that the author has any special and unique insight into the mind of God apart from what is already revealed in the Bible.

Well, who gives a hoot what you believe about his relationship with God? and you sure have not a clue about the definition of “prophet”.

Trying to wake up the faithful to the fact that there is a serious threat to the kingdom of god in the form a devilish murder cult centered in the middle east. Many are still asleep to this fact.

Doesn't it bother you that the author didn't quote a single scripture (or theologian, or Church Father, or even God, actually) in defense of his ideas?

I didn't think so. Carry on.
