President Obama, by proposing nearly $500 billion more in government spending to "create jobs," demonstrates liberal insanity quite well. Michael Savage has a book out titled, "Liberalism is a Mental Disorder" — I think he's on to something.
True enough, many liberal politicians may know full well that European-style socialism does not work. Sooner or later the well of other people's money runs dry. But, in the meantime, many are content to buy votes by taking wages from one citizen's productivity and distributing them to others.
Still, others actually believe the old liberty-killing ideas of Karl Marx can work. Because of his upbringing and the people he has been drawn to, Mr. Obama likely falls into the category of impulsively believing he can force a better America upon us (and he's certainly not above buying votes with other people's money).
The revolutionary ideas of redistributive justice have caused untold suffering and misery worldwide. But to modern-day liberals, that's irrelevant because they believe we now have a president with the brainpower to finally make forced wealth redistribution work...

Forced wealth redistribution justice has succeed in destroying to old class order and establishing a new privileged class everywhere it has been tried. That is just the goal of the unions and minority organizations. Mind you the “rank and file” in both will not do at all well but the leadership will make out like gang busters.

I’d say, Yes. They are nutty as a fruitcake. It’s a long-term chronic mental disease that deteriorates sound reasoning skills. The subject deteriorates mentally over time to the point of becoming violent, self-destructive and totally delusional. 50 years ago, we used to lock these types up in state mental hospitals, better known as luny bins. They tried everything to cure them in there including shock therapy and and outright labodemies; all to no avail. Somewhere along the line, someone decided they were not a threat to the rest of us and let these nut cases out into the streets of a functioning society. They bred with each other and multiplied into the so-called “liberals” that we have today. Unfortunately, we also gave them to right to vote when we let em out of the luny bins. Their self-destructive tendencies have now carried over to every facet of our government.
But they aren't concerned with solutions. They care about acquiring power and since money equals means equals power, they seek as much of our's as they can get away with stealing.
So no, they aren't insane, they just have different goals.
1) The right people were not in charge, but the new leader is so much smarter and/or less corrupt than anyone that has tried and failed before, therefore he/she/it will make it work this time. (Hence Obama's nickname "The One")
2) We just didn't spend enough money if we only spend more and spend it sooner…. (2nd, 3rd, 4th stimulus anybody)
3) or it's whatever scapegoat/Emmanuel Goldstein they can find fault for opposing them. It's Unexpected!!! It's Bush, Sarah Palin, Teabaggers, Glen Beck. If they wouldn't lead people astray everyone would see how brilliant they the Liberals really are

Seems so FDR. The whole of the 1930s and part of the 1940s were consumed and ruined by the insane progressives. If you change the names the FDR’s and the Food Stamp President’s administrations are interchangeable.
