Warning For Americans: Be Safe and Stay Alert. It’s Coming.

On the ground report from Greece by Manos September 11, 2011

After our socio-fascist government implemented all of Germany’s directives, the Greek people have come to an absolute desperation and poverty.

What is also outrageous is the fact that are own government has passed the message to the global banksters and other nations that Greek people are lazy and incapable.

Today, after two years of screwing and pressing us, most households and businesses have stopped paying. Stopped paying taxes, utility bills, toll fees, or anything else related to the government.

Two hours ago, this same government announced a new property tax (added to the 2 previous ones). This one will be calculated on every and each household, business, cottage, or even a barn for animals. It will be 4 euros per square meter calculated immediately, to be paid by this December the latest.

Once again let me tell you that we are not a lazy nation or useless people.

This has to do with some 4% of the working force, and all of them public servants who were hired by each government in order to gain votes for its next election campaign. So what’s actually happening is the same person who hired those people, now tries to persuade the rest of the nation that they are incapable.

Günther Oettinger, Germany’s representative on the European Commission, said last week that Europe should send United Nations soldiers to Greece to liquidate its assets and force tax collection...

Wow! And if NATO refuses, will Germany send its troops?

WWIII

Hmmmmm......sounds like California to me.

In Texas, my property tax has gone up 10% (more with their fuzzy math and rounding up) every year but one. We may have to move.

Lemme guess, RC2 is one of those who pointed fingers at Californians, like many others from Texas and elsewhere, who repeatedly said illegal aliens in California are Californians fault, and they deserve everything they get. Yet in Texas, Perry is just an innocent by-stander who is powerless.

More twisted cockn'bull hypocrisy.

I’d imagine if you don’t pay this, the law will come after you and throw you in prison and take your land anyway, right? Same thing happens here. If you don’t pay taxes, you go to jail.

The problem will be that nobody pays the extra tax. Even the policeman wouldn’t pay the tax.................he might not even have a job by then.

underneath economic systems lie moral systems.

Agree, that's why government should never take from one to provide for another. All taxes should go to the good of all (e.g. roads, bridges, defense, etc). That's not to say that government couldn't play a role in regulating insurance or insurance plans.

Charity is the responsibility of the churches, civic groups, businesses, and individuals - not government, IMO.

I feel for you. I’m sure California will attempt to get away from our tax laws, or at least revise them so they can raise our taxes also. Good luck.

Last year our property values were officially reduced.
The same piece of paper increased the property taxes.

The law?

Ya talking about the same law that panders to millions of criminal illegal aliens while forcing the tax payers to subsidize them?

It's too late, there are tens of millions of empty homes in America now, deteriorating sinking into the ground, as millions went jobless and couldn't pay their bills. How'd that work out?

Are you talking about the same law that bailed out big biz, Wall Street and the banksters on the backs of the tax payers, who are now on their knees?

Is this the law you're talking about?

How come the law panders to millions of illegal aliens, but legitimate U.S. Citizens are on the meat hook and must obey all laws or else, all while being forced to subsidize millions of criminals?

WTF is up with that?

which straw is going to break the camel’s back?

Hard to tell, because every straw is going to hit the camel’s back at the same time.

My point is the hypocrisy is up to our necks and rising rapidly.

the topic was “taxes” and you go off on me because of illegals.

BTW, it might come as a surprise to you, but this epic invasion of millions of illegals, has *everything* to do with taxes.

Tens of millions of illegals have compromised and undermined our entire system, including our electoral process, choked off our schools, jails, social services, hospitals, killed, raped, robbed shot, kidnapped, ran over, burglarized hundreds of thousands of Americans, turning our borders into a lawless national security time-bomb.

It's costing Americans hundreds of *billions* in tax dollars..

When I visited Greece in 1987 I was struck by the frequent unruly communist-led parades of workers demanding higher wages, more benefits, free health care, and longer vacations.

With property values going down so much

As we say, "Texas is a whole 'nuther world." Unlike the rest of the country, property values here have done nothing but gone up, up, up. So many yankees are moving in (and bringing their wacky ideas) and are willing to pay just shy of CA prices. With the rapid rise in property values, the tax office just laughs and tells you you're currently paying under the value so no way will they give you a break.

Methinks you missed this line:

Today, after two years of screwing and pressing us, most households and businesses have stopped paying. Stopped paying taxes, utility bills, toll fees, or anything else related to the government.

And...now the Greek gov't is demanding another payment on top of it all. If nothing comes of paying all other gov't bills, what's to worry about not paying yet another?

I sure don't advocate such behavior here, for the same reasons you express, but do wonder how many people are already not paying such bills. That factoid would get little press if any, lest it inspire more perpetrators, but if the number not prosecuted grows fast enough and beyond a critical mass we'll see the same consequences here.
