‘PA has a vaccine opt-out policy______’
Our Calif. daughter and her 3-children family, had to go 15 minutes to the next town to get health forms she is required to fill out.
She is a home school mom, and the state of CA requires all the same papers from these ‘private schools,’ which is fine.
Our families do not vaccinate - - - but take care of their children’s health responsibly.
There was a recent ad in our paper for the whooping cough booster which said ‘NO SHOT NO SCHOOL.’ Total lie.
I felt sorry for those uninformed - the local schools do have an opt-out form, but don’t advertise it - - - weenies.
Some people on all these vaccine threads just do not seem to get it. Why is it so easy for you, as conservatives, to believe big brother. The fact is some vaccines do more harm than good. Gardasil is one of those vaccines. There is much evidence showing the dangers from vaccines, but you will not find the documentation from the same agencies that are making money, either by selling them or getting funded for them. The link below is an archive, but it speaks for itself.

Sorry to see you accept crony capitalism, bribes and being bought-off as positive attribute.
Than there is amnesty, Dream Act supporter for ILLEGALS, not supporting a wall/fence.
Not to mention increasing debt and the size of TX government including adding tens of thousands of new govt employees.
Slick Rick should return to his DNC/Socialist party and OwlGore.
Sheeesh, such GOP/elitist liberal idiots on FR!
Sorry to see you lie.
If Merck’s $250/month since 2000 is corruption to you, get real. Saying this was a bribe is a lie.
Perry is not for amnesty, you lie.
There is no need for a 1200 mile fence, to say otherwise proves ignorance...or is a lie.
Why don’t you attack some real issues like his pro-life position, his second amendment positions, his positions on states rights, and views on income tax and the senate’s election?
Maybe you should just educate yourself instead of breathing other freeper’s farts online?
I wonder how much of the lack of marketing in Alaska has to do with the State Supreme Court’s rule of health care by the State. For instance, all hospitals must allow elective abortion and it is covered by Medicaid in that State - or it was until Governor Parnell vetoed it this last June.I’m pretty sure that, his veto was soon over run or repealled.
Sarah Palin’ church tried to stop abortions in Wasilla in the ‘90’s. They ended up with a State Supreme court ruling that resulted in all hospitals having to allow abortion. Then, on the advice of her Attorney General Governor Palin vetoed a bill that would have banned same sex benefits and vetoed another bill that would have stopped the Medicaid funding of abortion.
Those who didn't see the press release may not have been aware of the option, especially if it was referred to as a "mandate". Were the opt-out forms offered to the parents in person when they brought their daughters in, or would they have had to know which Internet site to go to to opt-out?
And please, I've seen the name calling that has gone on with these threads. This is a very important issue to me, and I just want to see your side of it.
So, my “side” can also be called “factual”, since I linked the press release. I'm not sure what people want. Perry's original statement mentioned an opt-out; it's not like it was hidden or not mentioned.
Or was it assumed that the parents saw the press release and decided to get the shots anyway?
I don’t know if they were advised. The EO didn’t take effect because the Texas legislature blocked it.
Do you have kids? Do you do whatever the government says you should do without researching options?
For me, the answers are ‘yes’ and ‘no’, in order. How about a little bit of personal responsibility on the part of parents. An opt-out was available and was announced when the EO was issued. What more would you want as a parent?
Good point.
What more would you want as a parent?
I would want the information presented without having to search for it, but I agree that being Internet savvy, I would look into it further.
The good news is that all of this is coming out early, so we have plenty of time to vet our candidates, rather than have the MSM blindside us in the general elections.
Also, thanks for allowing a reasonable exchange without name-calling, FRiend!
