I rarely venture out of the RF these days mainly because any skepticism over the agenda proposed by the current crop of totally underwhelming neo-conservative Republican politicians is invariably met with shrieks of "leftist".

Sarah Palin is better than some who are currently courting our vote. I certainly don't subscribe to the idea that she has no character flaws, did nothing foolish when she was younger and will save America now.
FWIW, I'm aware of the other allegations (cocaine) and from a legal standpoint if not from a moral standpoint, this is potentially more damaging for her. I expect allegations of illegal drug taking to result in Ms Palin instigating some serious litigation.
