Perry still dominating national primary, up 13 on Romney

Please report this to www.AttackWatch.com obviously the pollster is an evil right wing tea party member who clings to his guns and religion...
So both Perry and Romney have dropped—but by the same amount.
Perry looked and sounded like a dunce in the debate. He is going to need to step it up.
if going from 30 to 31 = dropping then yes....
Here’s something interesting in this poll...
Gingrich went WAY up! is at 10 now!
I agree, he is giving them too much material for campaign ads.
Gingrich just moved into 3rd (if you don’t count that idiot Paul, who’s numbers will never move either way)
You are right. I am a Perry supporter wanting to see a “solid” performance and was cringing through many parts of the debate. He needs to prepare more and get sharper.
Tell your boy to go home....
This is last week in New Hampshire...that’s a high level ceo of BOA....
This boy is not what we need in the whitehouse.
It’s a good thing we are electing a president and not a debate captain.
Wow! Gingrich shot way up. He’d make a great press secretary for President Perry.
lol right, take off the tin foil hat and step away from the keyboard.
Scratch that last month
he really deserves to be in the top tier after his debate performances.
Dude....look it up....sorry that was the way it’s done.....your boy is going down from the moment i saw that...I will not rest till he does....he is not what this election is about, and indeed part of the problem...
let me post it again.
If a pollster called me today, I’d be very tempted to say “Gingrich” even though I was pulling for Perry to do better in that last debate.
so some idiot walks up to Perry in a crowd... and wispers something damning for his friend to hear who is filming the whole thing... and you think you have a GOTCHA moment?
Opponents will have tag team and double up on their attacks at the next debate.
The CNN/TP debate apparently was the K-O punch for Perry.
IF you'd rather NOT be pinged FReepmail me.
IF you'd like to be added FReepmail me. Thanks.
Newt has been helping himself in these debates by being the adult in the room.
Here...since ur lazy or just confused....
Here’s a start of where it came from. I missed it, in August but better late than never.
Should we be surprised, frightened, disgusted or simply say “we knew it”, that in the informal mixer just after Texas Governor and Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry spoke at a Politics and Eggs breakfast in Bedford, New Hampshire, an unknown gentlemen approaches a casual Perry like an Ian Flemming character, and proceeds to dead drop the following: “Bank of America... We will help you out”... and silently moves on. At least we know now who is funding what, and whose interests potential future president Perry will be paid to defend.
Fast forward to precisely 40 minutes into the blow clip (full event can be found here).
And for those who believe the man is a plant, we believe it is James Mahoney, Director of Public Policy for BoA. You can see a photo of him here. He’s on the board of directors for the New England Council, the sponsors of yesterday’s Politics and Eggs breakfast.
Naturally, we would be delighted for Bank of America to refute this assumption.
The actual CSPAN video is at the link.
Perry's doing just fine. He's not the candidate I would have picked, but I guess he'll do. This primary season is turning into a snoozer. Wake me up when its over.
Wow. You mean he shook the hand of an evil banker?
Well you’re right anyone who shakes a banker’s hand definitely shouldn’t be president.
Has everyone forgotten what can happen to primary front runners or laggards when the election is a year away?
But they (PPP) also show him down 11 vs. Obama...
Basically the people saw through Romney slick debate phoniness, and saw Perry has honest and genuine.
No, we are nominating someone to challenge Obama, where the ability to articulate ideas coherently will be imperative.
And remember Rudy G. was leading Fred T. 4 years ago today.
Looks like he’s got the next Watergate there. Better have him go to the print media and detail the allegations of blatant handshaking in public and swear out an affidavit. He may need to have a police escort and possibly put into the witness protection program. Also I think there could have been several sections of the RICO Act that were violated, oh and I think he may be guilty of treason for this handshake.
Or maybe he is just objecting to Rick Perry’s hairdo?
I thought he actually started off pretty strong, but wasn’t as prepared as he could have been for the immigration and Gardasil questions.
actually, these numbers are from after the first debate, but before the second, no idea why they delayed releasing them till today. Probably didn’t fit their narative that Perry messed up.
LOL...yeah if you think that what that was sure...
and I trust you have kept up to date with BOA lately...oh that’s right you haven’t or you would not have been that stupid in posting that reply if you have.
Agreed. OTOH, Perry does need to step up his rhetorical defense and next weeks Fox/Google debate is the best opportunity Perry will have.
“Basically the people saw through Romney slick debate phoniness, and saw Perry has honest and genuine. “
I am pretty sure it’s just that Rino Rick is just better at “bending the truth”. ;-)
If you think he’s just going to show up and win, think again. Obama and the MSM will smear him unmercifully.
Debates are quite important. They allow the public to take measure of the challenger. Incumbents, even unpopular ones (Carter, both Bushes) usually lead in the polls until the debates, after which the public either decides that the challenger is acceptable or not.
Perry just needs to get sharper. I’m sure he can do it.
So I suppose the solution is to be anti-bank, go back to trading gold bars and chickens for goods??? WTF?
This video means nothing BTW...it’s a big nothingburger.
Perry is essentially running against himself at this point.
"PPP surveyed 500 usual Republican primary voters nationally from September 8th to 11th."
This is a poll taken before the CNN/Tea Party Express debate on 9/12. According to this and other polls I've seen, we're not going to have any post-debate poll results until sometime next week.
How do we know WHAT the guy said to him? This is so ridiculous.
Some douchebag with a camera phone just “happened” to be taking this video when it happened..?
I’ve forgotten more about major U.S. banks than you will ever know.
Now, if Huntsman could just take his pinched-up face and go away...
Perry is getting 31% in the poll. That approximately the same level of support he has been getting.
Leaving aside your delusions of gradeur that you alone can affect the outcome national elecdtions, are you telling us that some supposed "lobbyist" walking by Perry and blabbing an unsolicited comment has become a life altering, obsessive Jihad for you?
Here's you (after not resting) when Perry gets the nomination.
