Doesn’t he have a job to do in Texas? Oh, I forgot, he doesn’t want to “quit” that job because he got “elected to serve out his term” (... spending his time flying around the country???).

I wonder if Perry will now start to don the mantle of "presumptive" nominee..that is..to ignore the attacks of the other GOP candidates, and instead, focus entirely on Obama...Mitt was doing that before Perry got in the race..

Haven't seen too much talk about McDonnell for VP..He's a good guy, I have no problem wih him in that slot..but just to carry Virginia? I think Perry wins it whomever is the VP pick..Not sure if the ticket should be two white guys from the south...I think the VP should come from the MidWest..

First and foremost, true freedom protects against backdoor deals between elected officials and corporate interests.

Freedom protects against behind the scenes handshakes between Democrats and Republicans.

Let’s stand up for real freedom—be a man and take a stand against crony capitalism.

And yet everyone of those Republican activists from Virginia can look across the border at neighboring Maryland imagining it to be run by representatives of the Chinese Communist politboro ~ and having what are considered by Virginians to be PRO SLAVERY human rights policies.

They even passed a law there to give instate tuition to illegal aliens!

They allow refuge cities where the cops are not allowed to turn in the ilelgals.

We call Maryland the People's Republic of Maryland for those among other reasons.

So, you might ask, why would our peeps be applauding Perry?

I know I'm asking that, and I'm going to fire off some letters to my Republican members of the state legislature why they were applauding Perry and his policies.

We sure wouldn't be applauding O'Malley and his running dog lackeys, so why this other guy with the same program?

The words you don't hear at all from Democrats and too rarely from Republicans would be "freedom" and "liberty". I need to start hearing those words a lot more from our candidates, so I'm glad that Perry has uttered the word "freedom". Here's hoping he makes it a habit.

I don't trust Perry to effect a significant change in this country's burgeoning bureaucracies. He is not against big government. He does not advocate reducing EPA, Dept of Ed, DOE, IRS or immigration. What about border control and his support of Gore. He is the epitome of a career politician, smile wave yadda yadda. Another useless politician that gets some people excited, especially home staters that root for him like their local sports team. He is the same old stuff, the usual suspects, deja vu, groundhog day. Anyone promoting this guy has been duped, swayed, enamored. He'll be a guest on Dancing w/ stars just to get the mindless votes and with that he can win the presidency of the current and fading United States. Then what he does will be nothing. Like others, he wants the title, not the job.
