I agree with you on this. We were asleep at the switch when we allowed MTV and Hollywood to brainwash our kids for the last 30 years into thinking that the homosexual lifestyle was a normal thing. In fact, they said it was such a normal thing that a certain portion of the population was genetically predisposed to such preferences. The young men and women who serve today grew up during this one-sided cultural onslaught and have been affected by it like everyone else -- maybe less so than the general youth population, but still affected.

Just about every program on TV today has a major character or plot line that is sympathetic to homosexuality. Traditional family values are almost always attacked or warped to fit this new paradigm. The only way for us to combat such corrosive influence in the future is for the conservative movement to develop its own "propaganda" arm. We must take ownership of major film studios and do more to carve out or segment in social media so that our message is heard. We need to have a multilayered approach to this message as does the left. When the left produces some filth they hope will influence young minds they rarely label it in an honest fashion. The don't call it anti-Christian or anti-family, the employ the more pleasing semantics of "inclusion", "personal freedom", "expanded definition of marriage and family structure", etc.

People, we have to be smarter about this cultural war. Let's face it. The "Church Lady" approach to moral instruction isn't going to get us very far. We must have media that get our message across with varying degrees of subtlety. We have many overtly Christian outlets and they do a fine job of getting our message across to an audience that is already receptive to such ideas. But, what we need more of are filmmakers and artists who can carefully and seamlessly insert traditional morals into film and music. These films and musical recordings, should have plot lines and characters infused and imbued with the values we hold dear such as patriotism, traditional family life, and with, varying degrees of explicitness, belief in God.

I know many of you would rather sermonize to our lost youth directly from the Bible. I applaud and congratulate you on what success you have had with this approach. However, for us to turn the tide in this cultural war, we have to take a page from our enemy. We must employ a multilayered media approach.

good points but let me point this out please.

Ever sat down to watch TV and you get a PG or 18 message along with contains graphic language, graphic sex etc.

Now why do we not get a message saying homosexuality as I am fed up of watching a movie etc and then seeing a queer prancing about as if this was normal and even worse I have to educate my kids about what the media is doing and how they are trying to make you think this illness is normal and should be accepted.
