Kara Kennedy, the oldest child of the late Sen. Edward Kennedy, died after battling lung cancer. She was 51.
Patrick Kennedy, a former congressman from Rhode Island, said his sister died Friday at a Washington-area health club.

You’ll get ragged on because its already been posted. Mondale’s daughter also died today, both were 51. Way to young. Very sad for both families. No parent should out live their child.

No parent should out live their child. Oh, I'm not too sure about that. It depends on the child. Ted Bundy's mom, for example, should definitely have outlived Ted.

The Kennedy daughter died yesterday, Mondale's daughter today.
The title implies that Teddy had more than one daughter. She was his only legitimate daughter. I don't know if any of his affairs produced any other daughters.
