First it is impossible for anyone living today to really understand what the blacks of the 1800s went through, black or white.
Now try imagine what the response from these racist blacks would be if the words above were said about a black manager hired to do an interpretive site about the plight of the Irish immigrants during the migration to the US during the potato famine.
Certainly the blacks had a unique experience due to racism in this country but nearly every ethnic group in the country also had to face some form of prejudice and degradation.
Until the blacks get rid of that Gibraltar sized chip on their shoulder they are not going to make progress and eliminate the disparities they face in their station in society.

Black folks can’t have it both ways. How can you segregate while demanding desegregation? This is beyond hypocracy.
This happened in Nova Scotia, not New Brunswick.

Regardless of whether it was New Brunswick or Nova Scotia, it’s still one of the Maritime provinces. I never emphasized one over the other.
And that was the gist of previous post where I said...
