Champion The Vote (Grass Roots Christian Activism) ^ | 9/18/11

Posted on 09/18/2011 7:08:05 PM PDT by Recovering_Democrat

Change starts with one person. All it takes is VISION and ACTION.

If you're passionate about America and about God's Word, if you long to see our nation return to the timeless truth of a Biblical worldview, if you're willing to be on the frontlines and speak out to mobilize others to act – if you have as little as one hour a week to volunteer -- become a Champion! A Champion is simply a Christian talking to other Christians about registering and voting. Starting in your own neighborhood, your community, your workplace – you can make a difference. The changes that take place in communities around the country will collectively change the course of this nation.

We'll connect you with others in your state, equip you, and give you resources to have a huge impact on the future of our nation.

We can make a difference – one by one, multiplied across the nation.

Hold it!!! Be careful getting "church folk" registered to vote. It would surprise you how many voted for Obama. It amazes me how people can go to church on Sunday and clap their hands, sing, shout, dance and Praise The Lord and then on Tuesday go into a voting booth and vote for a person or Party that espouses killing little babies and same-sex marriage. You cannot count on church folks to vote morality today like you could in the 80's; no sir.

After you get them registered, you have to inform them of the facts.

You’re right - just registering them is only half the battle.
