VIDEO: Former Bachmann Campaign Manager Says She's Done After Iowa (Rollins strikes again)
Business insider ^ | Monday September 19, 2011

Posted on 09/19/2011 11:49:09 AM PDT by Bigtigermike

Ed Rollins, former campaign manager and current "informal adviser" to Rep. Michele Bachmann, told MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell moments ago that Bachmann doesn't have the "ability or the resources" to go beyond Iowa.

Rollins stopped working for the campaign day-to-day earlier this month in a staff shakeup, and criticized her comments on the HPV vaccine last week.

Rollins said Texas Gov. Rick Perry's entrance into the race undercut her campaign, and that she was unprepared for the national stage running as a congresswoman.

Did we not say that it was a huge mistake for Bachmann to hire Rollins? Did we not say it will be a disaster? It would doom her siding with an establishment guy who trashed her and Palin earlier this year?

This right here proves that all of the so-called professional campaign staffers are loyal to no one except their next paycheck.

Remember all the flack that Sarah Palin has taken over the summer because she has avoid hiring hacks like Rollins? Well here's why...they just can't be trusted.

I’m hoping the Bachmann stays in the GOP Primaries for the long run as she is provides a good laugh at least once a week.

Ah, politics. A blood sport for sure...bye bye michelle!
Rollins should never be hired by any pol who does not have him sign a pre nup equivalent to keep his mouth shut until after a canidate decides whether to stay in campaign or not...IMHO

it was a mistake for any 2 term congressman to consider running for the highest office in the land but that didn’t matter to her.

Now we know why Sarah is waiting, this kind of stuff happens when a presidential campaign goes on for 2 years.

Rollins is a putz and needed to go, and if this doesn't prove it I don't know what will.

I am glad that Bachmann hired Rollins, only for the reason that the move showed her true character.

But on the Rollins front alone, this was simply wrong for Rollins to be speaking this way about the person he just finished working for. If he ever works again I will be surprised.

Last week they had a segment on PMSNBC about Rollins bashing his former client on air, even the lib Steve McMahon thought that it was outrages for a campaign manager to do that to any client.

Our predictions were 100% accurate concerning Rollins - Michele is the one who is stupid, you can never trust these people and she did foolishly

Vintage Rollins.

Now he will continue down the path of trashing Bachmann to anyone who will listen.

I sense Bachmann derangement syndrome.
Well I sure won’t be crying whatever happens in 2012 with the race. I don’t sense things going in the right direction though.

Yep, we tried warning her and she did not listen. She didn’t want to listen, she was enjoying watching her campaign manager trash Palin on her behalf. Bachmann was stupid to hire this guy, he had said some nasty things about her back in Jan yet she still hired him. I knew the second she hired this guy the end result would not be good

Yes, he will now be writing a book - just as I predicted when MB hired him.

Of course, this will now open a new vein of slobbering hatred towards the woman - something I refuse to participate in.
