“Perry ... to express support for Israel” For everything but their wall I suppose.

One of Rick Perry’s first acts after being elected agriculture commissioner in 1991 was to create the Texas-Israel Exchange, which promoted information and research sharing. Perry has been to Israel several times. He has gone to the Gaza strip and studied how they use drones to patrol. He has asked the U.S. Federal government to use drones on the U.S.-Mexican border. Perry knows that a "fence" or wall works -- and has said they work in urban areas. Israel has walls but they don't have a wall 2000 miles long.

That’s just more more lip service.

If you want an `eye-opener’ on the cost and benefits of unregulated immigration/open borders, read Mark Steyn’s latest book.
You Perry cheerleaders’ arguments are weak. You just want to kick this can down the road to our children. And our children are going to angry enough with us when we get up from the table and leave them the bill for what’s happening now, much less having to deal then with another 10-20 per cent of Mexico’s, say 30 or 40 million hungry, ailing cast-offs expecting that los Estados Unidos are Mexico’s Dept. of Health, Education and Welfare.
Let’s start paying off our own debts before piling even more on the backs of the next generation.
