i really doubt that my head is in the sand, but let us not misrepresent things. we’re taking outliers and presenting them as the norm.
as I have said - there are enough problems with EBT without us adding to them with speciousness.
I thought there were once some restrictions on what could be purchased with “food stamps”, but they seem to have been removed and the EBT cards are just debit cards with the taxpayers funding the monthly balances sent to each beneficiary.
The ‘get out of jail free’ card is the Uncle Omar card.
