This isn’t only about Perry, as you pointed out Palin has had disgusting charges leveled against her. There is always some piece of scum who will say whatever Flynt wants for $1 million. Our candidates should be vetted but I wouldn’t trust anything said about any of them when the accuser has been paid.
If there is dirt in his background, guaranteed it will be found. I hope he’s clean. Palin is clean, so they’ve had to make up crap. And they can’t make up much.
I don't know what to think about McGinniss's book. He hates her guts, has for years, and he's totally invested in "finding something" -- hell, he moved all the way to Wasilla and braved the wrath of both Track and Todd (Track is in the Army, the 25th Infantry Division, and I think he's been to jump school, too, and in any case in the prime of manhood now; and his old man ain't shabby, either) either of whom could bring the errors of his ways home to him in a most bedridden sort of way, in order to slime this woman he detests for her politics, all else flowing therefrom.
Sarah Palin was vetted by a very "pro" DC lawyer who specializes in these kinds of character and background issues, at John McCain's request, in 2008.
There was an article on FR yesterday about McGinnis’ book, pretty much saying the entire thing is made up crap.
