Agree. . .no way that if truth voted, RP can be anywhere, but at bottom of list.

I still believe Newt can be a Dark Horse. Mitt Romney looked like the winner last night though. We will see how the primaries do. Perry really sucked.

I am constantly amazed at the whining that occurs by many Freepers regarding RPs “troops” ability to hit the polls...

What bothers me is the drooling the Paulbot do just because they can spam a poll. Internet polls and straw polls where democrats can participate are the only ones the surrender monkey can win.

Well, whatever he is would be an improvement on what we have now.

There are 'Democrats' and there are 'Leftists'. The Left owns the Democrat Party. Not voting Republican, only insures the further - if not irretrievable - erosion/destruction of our Country per Leftist harvest. Voting in Conservatives, at every level, easier task with a Repub President and/or majority.

If OBama wins; then Labor wins; Marxist-mafia, Communists win. Degradation and ignorance wins - the WORST elements of our society-culture win. . ..and truth and democracy; our 'land of the free' WILL be further damned. And of course, there is our Military. . .

As disappointing and painful; are many of our Repub candidates: they leave the Left, pale in value, by comparison.

Could almost hear the Union-mafia/Obama 'forces' plotting their 'worst' and most threatening, campaign strategies against Republicans, as they debated and cheered tonight.

We are in a war! And we cannot save our Country with our Party divided, on Election Day.

I’m not completely sure of my memories of 2007, but I was thinking a few days ago that Newt Gingrich was following a John McCain path. I seem to remember John McCain dropping into the low single digits in the polls. He then started slowly rising back into contention. The debates are giving Newt Gingrich a chance to show why he’s been so popular for so long.

I agree that Perry was terrible.

The establishment Republicans want either Romney or Perry. That's why the big press focuses on a pretend battle between the two. You'll hear everywhere in the MSM that Romney won.

Any real conservative will say the same: Cain and Gingrich won.

I like Cain’s honesty. It just shines through. Am so glad God saw him through his cancer travails. Something like that changes you inside, and I do believe Cain is returning that favor to God.

Am still holding out for Sarah Palin too.

O’Reilly’s show last night had a segment about a Marist poll that said 73% of republicans do not want Palin to enter the race. Curiously not one person in that segment mentioned the recent shock Drudge headline that Palin was just 5 points behind Obama in a national poll. Yeah that very same Marist poll. Guess O’Reilly decided not to be fair and balanced that day.

A Palin-Cain hybrid could produce one wicked political animal. Maybe the anti anti-Christ.

I think criticism of the “Paultards” is a bit rich coming from FreeRepublic. After all it was here that we created the idea of “Freeping” polls.

I remember many posts where Freepers reported great success in moving a poll, often by multiple votes.

You say: “Cain did not fold but he did backtrack because he realized how determinated the Establishment is to punish anyone who dares raise the question of the role that Islam plays in the War on Terror.”

He made a statement the muzzies took “offense” to and they demanded an apology.

He apologized. That ended it for me.

You defend it by saying he did it because “he realized how determinated [determined?] the Establishment is to punish anyone who dares raise the question of the role that Islam plays in the War on Terror.”

That would be a double weakness.

Here's a man who blasts the muzzies with the truth (and he knows Islam thoroughly) to their face - and refuses their demands to apologize. Here's one super little example followed by an in depth statement on knowing the enemy. They leave him alone now because they know, one, that he won't back down, and two, not only will he not back down, he knows Islam through and through and will explain it again to the sheeple.

And he DOES NOT speak in PC.

Lt. Col. (congressman) Allen West. WE need this man in the WH - THIS ticket, either way.(I'd like to see Sarah win and choose West for VP).

He was wrong to say I will not appoint any Muslims. That was like saying I will not appoint Catholics or Jews or Mormons. That is contrary to the express language of the Constitution, which permits no religious test for office. However, he might have called out all Muslims, such as CAIR, who are blatantly anti-semitic and hostile to the existence of Israel, a major American ally. Personally I would vote to limit all immigration from the Middle East for an extended period, except for religious and political refugees. But that will not fly, because most Americans think that Muslims are sort of like Jews.

It is not that Paultards can spam a poll that bothers FReepers, it is that Paultards drool in that they actually think it means something.

If Perry, Romney, Palin and Bachmann are such great inspiring Republican candidates - why aren’t their “troops” capable of doing the same?

Because we have better things to do than swarming and spamming useless polls just to get some unrealistic result.

He blew that one, plain and simple. Sounded like an answer crafted towards the general election winning the middle, not for a primary debate.
