It is a more operative truth, in our system, that no one ever got rich without enriching others.
Now that I think about it, only in the private sector is it true that one cannot get rich without enriching others. In the government sphere, it happens all the time.
The only things 'scared' by MM are donuts.....
No, because he wears a baseball cap. That makes him a “little” guy.
"Wait a tic ... blimey, this redistribution of wealth is trickier than I thought."
A planned economy is very attractive to somebody with the arrogance to think that he would be a member of the planning class.
The "old money" rich do not necessarily have the IQ, energy, and drive that allowed their ancestors to accumulate the money they now live on. What they DO have are connections -- they and their lawyers know people in government and in the bureaucracies. The bigger government gets, the more valuable those connections become as far as getting waivers for themselves, and handicapping their competitors.
"Our base was attacked by a giant, socialist, weasel."
Vilolently? Bring it on fat boy...looking over my available tools, probably have to go with the 300 win mag to take you down but it would be worth it.
I was trying to picture His Largeness scaling a fence.
Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats.
H. L. Mencken
It doesn't do a thing to explain it, but I can. Communism buys security for the rich at the expense of the middle class. The rich have tax-exempt foundations in which to hide most of their personal spending money. Said foundations are also conduits for "investments" in "charities" that manipulate the resources and markets in which they are invested. Hence, the more power government has to influence said markets the more secure are the rich... only so long as the middle class survives to provide the government operating cash flow.
The smart rich know they can only build the gate so high. And, and, sooner or later history proves that people when they’ve had enough arent going to take it anymore. And much better to deal with it nonviolently now, through the political system, than what could possibly happen in the future, which nobody wants to see,
I am sure there is an sound idea and a grammatically correct expression there. I am working on it right now I’ll get back to you when I figure out what the f$#@ he is saying.
I am just kidding, because I DO know what he is saying.
It is nothing new in the realm of the perennial ‘have-not’s’ incessant whining. It’s centuries old actually, but the same none the less.
Their logic and ability to express themselves beyond, “I WANT” and “GIVE ME”, has not improved.
Here’s some rock solid and pure gold advise to Liberals who insist on demanding MORE than what they are willing to work for and earn themselves:
The FIRST step in changing ANYTHING ON EARTH is to f^$#ing PAY ATTENTION in school
LOL! Save your ammo and make him walk up a flight of stairs.
Silliness. Michael Moore couldn’t fight his way out of a wet paper bag. Who’s he kidding?
This is how it started in the Soviet Union. In the end, anyone who could afford to buy tgheir own food was a “Kulak”.
It's another one of his usual rabble rousing exercises in "Let's you and him fight!".
You won't find Fat Mike (or any of his ilk) anywhere near the front lines of a war he started.
Problem is: there are a lot (on both sides) itching for a fight.
L: “You thieving capitalists better watch it or we’ll have a ‘Union Spring’ a la Egypt!”
R: “Bring it commie!”
Lather, rinse, repeat.
The rational will just sling more rhetoric.
Some nut will act on it. Harper’s Ferry, Archduke Ferdinand...
Michael: You forget, elephant a$$, that you ARE a rich person...or did you spend all of your money feeding your bloated face?
Another thing about the “old money” rich is that they want to keep their “club” exclusive. Communism is a great way to “pull the ladder up” to keep others from climbing into their exclusive lofty treehouse.
