Christie is fine for NJ. No way I want him as president. I still don’t think he is going to run, but if he does he will just take votes away from mittens!

“..Romney, in my book, is worse than Perry - regardless, of who did or didn’t win a stupid debate.”

So you agree with Perry over Romney (and all of the others for that matter) on the illegal alien issue? For some of us, that is one of our litmus test issues.

Like it or not, “stupid debates” performance can have a major impact on the electorate. One bad performance may be survivable, but we have a pattern here with Perry - fumbling, mumbling, grasping at straws, failing to look opponents in the eyes, getting put down right and left, sticking to his guns even though they are loaded with blanks, etc. etc. Strikeouts at all three debates, ineffectively trying to defend his positions or writings. Get him in a debate with Obama (even without his teleprompter) and it would be tent folding time for the GOP.

Just like Bachmann, he has shown he is NOT ready for prime time when the spotlight got turned on. The best possible candidate is not yet in the race (not referring to Christie, Bush, Guiliani).

“..The guy {Perry} just doesn’t have the mental acuity to know how to turn the barrage back on its perpetrator. If he can’t handle an obvious two-faced huckster like Romney, he’s dead meat in a truly hostile media environment..”

Yep, Bachmann clone in that regard. Succint observation.

My guess is Christie’s NOT running. . . just a distraction to take the heat off Perry. Sarah’s “possible” run. . . . messing up the media heads. . . don’t take any of it seriously. It’s gonna be either Mitt or Perry. And as long as Rubio is the vp, I’m very OK with either one.

I NEVER thought I would ever disagree with you. In the many years that we have been on FR, I can’t think of one time I disagreed with you until today.....not a big deal but just surprised.

Hello. Haven’t talked to you in awhile. Hope all is well. What was your thoughts on the debate? I was a bit insulted by his words making us feel guilty for not accepting illegal aliens. He said that....MSN has nothing whatsoever in that mess. Perry definitely stepped in it his very own self. I am curious about your thoughts though. Please don’t tell me that he is getting that pass. I mean that is fine if you do but I will be surprised.

No, I don’t agree with his stance on in-state tuition for illegals. It’s wrong in so many ways, but, all of them on that platform have warts and we are waiting for the real candidate to step forward. Yeah, I know who you mean and I’m right there with you. However, if this candidate doesn’t run, we are stuck with a group of not-too-readies for prime time. I want obama out of office so bad, that I would vote for any of them. (how sad is that?)

Glad you liked it :-) I think most FRiends will get the Boehner reference. I hope a sarcasm tag wasn't necessary.

We live or die alone, but countries require a leader to survive, or in our case one to destroy it.

If we had a huge selection of true leaders that really wanted the country to be a great country then no, the country would not live or die because of one person, but history tells us that one person many times made the difference.

We have for most of my life been presented with various leaders of the same stripe, just looking a little different, but all have brought us to this point in history where we will have to make a decision of whether wish to be free, or enslaved by the state. Sadly velvet chains are still chains.

This country, that was the greatest country to ever exist, is now on the verge of becoming a third world cr@p hole, because of leaders that all had the same purpose, One World Order. They all have been working for the same boss, some recognize that, most don’t otherwise we would not have elected the current president.

And if Palin doesn’t run I guess you will stay home and suck your thumb.

I am pretty sure my tagline makes my intention clear.

Yes sir, promising to vote for someone you wish was running but isn’t tells us all we need to know about you.

I hope she decides to run and I might vote for her, but she has to be declared as a candidate before I do that. I will not throw away my precious vote on a dream, I am a Republican and I only have one vote.

Make a difference, sure. But America’s supposed to fold its tent and call it a day if Palin gets hit by a bus or simply decides not to run? No way in hell.

Hate to disappoint you, there is no “Perry’s collapse”.

Explain Florida.

one not so great debate and we're calling it a "collapse" ....???....this is just nonsense...

Perry probably is our best chance and we better get this one right....

we can not survive anymore of zero...

we need a viable candidate...

Rush is right on this one....we need to take Texas for sure....

God bless Cain, and the rest....
