If anyone wonders what is wrong with America today, check out Solyndra. Its principal players were well-connected politically they knew the White House like the back of their grubby little paws but they did not know jack about business. In the 19th century, Solyndra would have failed an no one would have noticed. [SNIP] Most people know the tawdry deals of a billionaire raising money for Barack Obama who upon election feverishly worked to get the billionaires company a guaranteed loan. But what is really eye-opening is how dumber than rocks the companys business plan was.

title says it all
“Before he became Solyndra’s chief financial officer, Wilbur G. Stover was at the center of one of the largest price-fixing scandals in U.S. history.”

Michael Savage is playing recordings of the Solyndra executives taking the fifth ammendment. Just like the Joe Vallachi days. Unbelievable.
Thanks for telling me that. -And sure enough, it is on youtube now...
Solundra Execs take the 5th
Your more than welcome.
I sure hope someone goes to jail for this and not just a third level flunky.
I’m mad as Hell at the continued corruption being thrown at the public and the support being doled out by Democrats for their pet projects and inept leader. Democrats continue to put party interests and vote buying ahead of national interest and the longer term well being of America. Do you suppose the unions will show up at the houses of Solyndra management (thugs) and protest? No, because they are basically an arm of the Democratic Party. Investigation will lead to a prolonged cover up and give time for records to be destroyed. Reconstructing and sifting through bank records will take months, if not years (something I’ve done in the past). These crooks should be turned over to a committee of “concerned citizens” or even the CIA to see how long they continue to plead the Fifth. It’ll never happen and the full light of this scandal will not surface until well after the 2012 elections. But the blame is largely within the government as well and the investigation must focus on that part of the equation quickly. The background of every government employee or appointee associated with this loan should be reviewed (with emphasis on lending experience and due diligence), especially if any bonuses or promotions came about as a result of this loan. This can be done much more quickly and lower level employees made to look like fall guys are more likely to talk.
Thanks Nachum, and thanks Perdogg.
These guys were working the Bush Administration up to the last week Bush was in office. They are just scam artists, you'll find that there are people in their group that were giving to the Republicans up to the 2008 election.
