Maybe they are like Unitarian Muslims or something.

"Those should be praised for speaking out."

I wholeheartedly agree.

What I didn't see or hear in that entire ten years was one single instance of a Muslim condemning those abominations, or urging anything less than "Islam as Jihad."

While there were far too condemnations of the 9/11 terror attacks, there were a few Muslims who were very vocal in condemning them. Muhammad Ali was one of them.

Agreed. It seems like these may be folks who were raised in Islam but don’t really believe it like many nominal Christians don’t believe in the Bible and many nominal Jews don’t believe in the Torah.

There are no ‘moderate’ Muslims. Only OBEDIENT and DISOBEDIENT ones.
The Koran is the problem. Islam is the problem.
We were not ok with anyone who believed in Nazism in WW2, we cannot be ok with anyone who believes in Islam now.
As long as we are....we lose!

If you’re not Muslim you’re not innocent-if you’re not Muslim you’re not even ‘people’. THAT is the biggest qualifier!

Moderate muslims are not in a hurry to blow you up or slit your throat.

They are willing to wait for the caliphate, and give you the choice of conversion, dhimmitude with payment of the jizya tax, OR death.

Define "innocent".

That's a Muslim male that has not had sex with your girlfriend or goat and has not seen your wife's head uncovered.

Problem is that Nazism and Islam have been joined at the hip since Yasser Arafat's uncle, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and SS Reichfuhrer Heinrich Himmler were plotting the Final Solution to the Jews in Europe and Waffen SS Mountain Divisions (German and Muslim) were doing genocide in the Balkans (1943-1945). Pan Arabism, the Muslim Brotherhood, the Ba’ath Party, and other Muslim Middle East groups have Nazi influences. The cancer has spread. It was only momentarily checked when Germany surrendered on 8 May 1945. The legacy lives today.

Good luck with that. There is no such thing as a moderate Muslim. This would be a ploy to help keep the “moderate” Christan and Jew heads in the sand.

If the other than “moderate” Muslims ever get the upper hand the “moderate” Muslims will be no where to be found.

‘Thousands of Muslims have attended a peace conference in London which has condemned terrorism.

About 12,000 Muslims gathered at Wembley Arena for Islamic group Minhaj-ul-Quran’s Peace for Humanity Conference.

The conference launched a campaign to get one million people to sign an online declaration of peace by 2012.

Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said the conference would send a message that 10 years of extremist activity should end.

‘Love and smiles’

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is the founder of Minhaj-ul-Quran and gave the keynote speech at the event, despite having received death threats after issuing a fatwa - or religious ruling - against terrorism last year.

The cleric was repeatedly applauded during his address in which he said the “terrible” 9/11 attacks in the US had distorted perceptions of Islam over the past decade.

Normally it’s pop stars who attract the big crowds at Wembley Arena. Today it is the renowned Islamic scholar Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.

You can even see posters of him on the buses travelling through the streets near the stadium.

But his message is a serious one. He preaches that there are no conditions under which extremism and the violence it endorses can be excused.

It’s a message that has found a big audience here at Wembley but one which has ironically made him the subject of death threats from those who don’t believe in peace.
He told the audience: “In spite of statements and memorandum and condemnation of the terror, the voices of the 99% true, peace-loving Muslims have not been heard, they have been drowned out by the clamour and the noise of extremists.

“Islam has nothing to do with any act of terrorism. We reject every act of extremism and terrorism unconditionally.”

The event, which took one year to organise, was attended by people from across the UK, many of whom arrived in coaches.

Those who attended heard a series of lengthy and impassioned speeches, some in Arabic, from Islamic scholars denouncing terrorism and extremism.’

Wrong, they were invited and attended, anyone was free to attend. In fact a rabbi and a hindu priest were amongst various faiths represented at the rally.

‘The audience heard pre-recorded messages of support from, amongst others, Prime Minister David Cameron, Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg, opposition leader Ed Miliband, United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon and Archbishop of Canterbury Dr Rowan Williams.

And there were prayers for peace from representatives from a number of different religions including the Bishop of Barking, the Rt Rev David Hawkins, Jewish rabbis and representatives from the Hindu, Buddhist and Sikh faiths.’

I agree, the enemy hasn’t changed. The question is- why have we? Was my father’s generation the LAST of Americans who were unafraid to call evil what was and put everything they had into countering it? Seems so.
I keep trying to imagine today’s ‘lets understand them’ mindset in 1942. It would have been unthinkable, and called what it was-collaborating with the enemy.
Is America really that suicidal now, in the name of ‘fairness’?

The only thing I can figure is that this PC mania about not “offending” anyone has been coupled with the American Left’s determination to destroy the United States and rebuild it into some weird Marxist utopia. The Left looks at Muslims as “victims” with grievances against America and has made common cause with them. What the idiots on the Left do not understand and refuse to recognize is — if they win and destroy the “evil” United states -- their Muslim allies will exterminate them.

If the Muslim whackos pull off another 9/11 attack and thousands of Americans die, I would not want to be either a Leftie nutter or Muslim. American rage would be akin to 8 December 1941 and the Mainstream Media couldn't lie enough to change minds.
