Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately, I’ll be visiting in Miami on that weekend.

I have a campaign worker for Cain at my disposal and will ask him to clarify Mr. Cains stand on the Bill of Rights. Fair Enough?

You wrote:

“Although Cain says he supports the Second Amendment, in the next breath he says he *fully* supports *any and all* state gun control/prohibitions.”

In contrast stand the facts of what he actually said, in context:

BLITZER: All right. Let’s talk about gun control. Do you support any gun control?

CAIN: I support the Second Amendment.

BLITZER: So you don’t — so what’s the answer on gun control?

CAIN: The answer on gun control is I support strong — strongly support the Second Amendment. I don’t support, you know, onerous legislation that’s going to restrict people’s rights in order to be able to protect themselves as guaranteed by the Second Amendment.

BLITZER: Should states or local governments be allowed to control the gun situation? Or should...

CAIN: Yes.

BLITZER: The answer is yes?

CAIN: The answer is yes. That should be a state’s decision.

Herman Cain v. The Interloper

Rocket Scientist, mathematician and all-around nerd - Doper

He worked off his college loans by working for the U.S. Navy - He worked off his college loans suing banks for not making mortgage loans

Gospel singer and assistant pastor of a Baptist church rooted in the American south - Member of a church he might not have ever attended rooted in Marxism

He wrote five books - He had one book written for him

Elected by his fellow restaurant chain owners to represent their industry in Washington - Elected a state Senator to vote “present” on anything controversial during the two years he was in that office

Elected Chairman of the Board of the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank - Elected to the U.S. Senator where he was absent most of the two years he was in that office

RE: Cain’s visit to Roane State. This should be shouted from the rooftops in TN: Gary Johnston, Roane County Tea Party, said the invitation to Roane State was issued to ALL the GOP candidates. ONLY Cain accepted. (Source, Knoxville News Sentinel)

He knows what he is doing. TN will be a ground swell of support for Mr. Cain if he can get his plan off the ground. We are near the highest sales tax of any state. It will affect many. The flip side of this is all consumers now have skin in the game. The manipulations of the current tax code will cease. It is a hard sell to the retired population.
