Cause if the dems dump the “magic Negro”,
They risk alienating the millions of blacks who
vote dem regardless if Jesus Christ were
On the ticket running as a pubbie

Goodwin says Hillary and Biden will switch jobs like all they have to do is reprogram their limo’s gps. Replacing a VP requires a vote of both houses of Congress, or did we forget that in 1976 neither POTUS or VP had been elected by the people or electors.

Why do you call her hamhocks when most of us still prefer
the more respectful “Her Thighness”?
Your scenario is interesting, I must say, but
as another poster just said , the current atmosphere is not good for ANY Dem. 3 years ago the Dems decided to shunt her aside and in a grand and futile gesture of overreach, roll the dice on a TRUE radical, who was just stupid and untested enough to think he could both push and rationalize an Agenda the likes of which we’ve never seen. That project, by anyone’s estimation, failed. Republican obstructionism is still being tried out as an explanation for that, ——it’s still playing well, but to an ever-diminishing audience.Hillary’s time has come and gone. I think she’s seasoned enough to know a primary challenge by her would be a bigger roll of the dice than the Dems rolling the dice on Obama.

I think they mean that Hillary could become Obama’s running mate in 2012 as the VP nominee, not that Biden and Hillary would switch jobs right now. You’re right, doing that right now would require a vote of Congress. The speculation I had heard was that Hillary becomes the VP nominee for the 2012 election, and assuming they win, then Biden gets appointed as Sec. of State after the election.

Not long ago, Hillary said that she has no interest in running for elective office again. She said that she will leave as Sec. of State at the end of Obama’s term, whether he gets re-elected or not.

Bill said that Hillary wants to be a grandmother more than she ever wanted to be president.

Can you imagine a politician saying that they are not going to run for office, then changing their mind and running??? (sarcasm)

Certainly a Clinton would never say things to mislead people about their true intentions would they??? (more sarcasm)

They have to implement the strategy to dump him without alienating the black community.
That may be starting,OLD Maxine Waters has fired the first salvo since obumbos speech at the
black caucus. Makes you wonder why Obumbo used the phrase take off you slippers and get out and march,is he attemtingbto help his demise?

I believe obama must be forced out some way—
1. assassination would do it (Killed by some racist Tea Party Person best) Turn him into a tin saint.
2. Health problems—like Teddy K.
3. Complete scandal might do it too. Forced to resign by evil Tea Party Republicans.
4. Hillary would be “forced” to run “for the good of the nation”-—she could win and get the black vote too.

I don’t think any of these will happen—Obama and his arrogance will doom the Democrats to a certain defeat in the election. The whole party will be tossed out and with it the progressives. I believe that would be the best thing for the nation.

At this point I would even take Bill back

How bad is Obama that he makes Hillary! look conservative, and seasoned FReepers pine for the good 'ol days of Bill?

The only real negative for Democrats is the negative reaction within the black community. They might not forgive the Democrats for dumping Obama and stay at home in the election.

That's why I think the Dems will pull a Lautenberg, as they did in New Jersey. Biden will be given an offer he can't refuse - perhaps a job that requires tact, like the State department. :-)

Hillary steps in and the Kool-Aid drinkers would embrace the concept, figuring eight more years after obama (if the Hispanic demographics hold up).
