Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) on Monday complained that President Obama had unfairly singled out the African-American community and characterized them as complainers over the weekend.
"Despite the fact that he's appointed [Sonia] Sotomayor to the Supreme Court, he has an office for excellence in Hispanic education right in the White House, [the Hispanic caucus is] still pushing him," she said. "He certainly didn't tell them to stop complaining, and he would never say that to the gay and lesbian community, who really pushed him on Don't Ask Don't Tell. Even in a speech to AIPAC [the American Israel Public Affairs Committee], he would never say to the Jewish community to stop complaining about Israel."
Obama, speaking at a Congressional Black Caucus dinner Saturday, called on his African-American supporters to "stop complaining" and begin fighting.
"Shake it off. Stop complaining, stop grumbling, stop crying," he said, asking the crowd to "march with me and press on."

Maxine was obviously upset that Obama’s racist half-white side was doing the talking.

Has anyone ever heard a President yell and scream into a mike the way this guy does? Even in front of Congress. He sounds like he’s trying to inspire a high school football team.
Trouble on the Plantation Maxine? A liberal slave uprising is always interesting to watch, but soooo boring. I’m sure it won’t be long before you are once again praising Massa Obama and his marxist overseers.
That speech, in content and tone, was one of desperation and anger.
He had a choice to apologize to them, sell his policies, and beg for more time, and he chose to berate them, belittle them, and worse, ASSUME their feilty. Blacks, above all, do not like being taken for granted.
The story of the 2012 election will be how even the black vote left his side. Sure, upwards of 90% of blacks who go to the polls will vote for Obama, but his problem will be turnout.
He’s embarrassing them, and they will want him off the stage in 2012, IMHO.

Lol! Did not think about this, but Waters has it right. Blacks are portrayed as complainers, by the chief complainer himself—obamma. What an obamma putdown of Waters and her (Holder) kind. Heh heh heh heh!

Erica Hill talks to Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) about Pres. Obama’s speech to the Congressional Black Caucus, in which he told the crowd to “stop complaining” and “put your marching shoes on.”
Communist, Mother Maxine Waters can clearly read the handwriting on the wall. Obama is toast, even in the Black American Community. Oh, yes, about 75% will vote for the empty suit, buffoon, Obama, but....at that rate, Obama will lose in a massive landslide and take most of the Democrat Party with him. Look, Obama is not all there, the Jews know it, the Blacks know it and the Hispanics know it. Obama is now reduced to ranting and hating, just like Hitler did before he ended it all as a raving maniac in his Berlin bunker, in April, 1945. The comparison is amazing!!!! Mother Maxine is only doing what any smart CBC member should do, distance themselves as far as they can away from Obama!!! And......of course “The Jew” comment by Obama did not help!!! The real Obama surfaced amongst the great Jew haters in America, the CBC!!!
I really wonder if there is a tipping point with this rhetoric when the black community decides Barry really isn’t “black” and he starts losing them. hmmmm
