Are students that promote the black panther ideology and the Office of Diversity in league together at the University of Minnesota - Duluth (UMD)?
It would would appear so in the video below. The events took place last week as one young man, Phil Cleary, handed out pocket Constitutions on campus in honor of Constitution Day. He had a table with literature promoting Youth for Western Civilization, a group dedicated to traditional values and western civilization, and engaged in students and faculty passing by.
Then, the leftists showed up to heckle.
The young man in the video, Blair Jordon Moses, threatened to "exercise" his 2nd amendment rights if he perceived that there was any kind of threat to the Multicultural Center. He did not define what a threat would constitute but suggested that the existence of the group Youth for Western Civilization would count.
Blair was wearing a pin on his jacket picturing Huey P. Newton carying a gun. For those of you who don't know, Newton was a founder of the Black Panthers. The Black Panthers is a violent and ethnocentric organization that promotes racial divides and anti-American rhetoric.

MINNEAPOLIS / ST. PAUL (09/27/2011) —Freedom of expression, fostering diverse views and opinions, and promoting civil debate are core to our democracy, and are an important part of the tradition of this country’s public universities and of the University of Minnesota. Freedom of speech on campus is a fundamental tenet of the University of Minnesota, as is a strong commitment to equity and diversity, and to ensuring a safe and civil campus community.
The organization Youth for Western Civilization (YWC) has produced a video that provides edited excerpts of a conversation that took place on Sept. 16, 2011. The exchanges are between a representative from YWC (who is not affiliated with the University of Minnesota), a student from the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD), and a UMD staff member. The conversation took place amid the annual “Taste of Kirby” event in recognition of Constitution Day during which numerous student organizations and outside groups distribute literature. The exchange took place outside UMD’s Kirby Student Center. Because the entirety of the video recorded that day has not been shared with us, it would be imprudent to jump to conclusions about the full exchange between the parties portrayed in the edited video that has been made public.
We have discussed the matter with the UMD staff person in the video and it is our understanding that her comment was based on materials being displayed by YWC which weren’t made available to her or to the University. Conversations are continuing with involved parties and we are confident that all are committed to the University of Minnesota’s values of civility, free speech, and diversity.
No complaints about threats or violence were made to the UMD Police at the time of the incident. One complaint was made on Sept. 27, 2011, after the videotape was made public. Upon review of the video, St. Louis County Attorney representatives determined there is no basis for charges or additional investigation.
The University of Minnesota will continue to foster a culture of open, engaged, and respectful discourse.
Why isn’t this person being charged with harassment or bullying or terroristic threats?
I also recall the original BP Party. They were hardened revolutionaries who proved to be a menace to society. They ended up being hunted down and either killed or locked up by the police and FBI until they faded away. History will repeat itself if they keep their BS up.

The fact that some of them were even able to slink away would mean two things:
1) Simply ran out of ammo.
2) Some members of the militia need additional time on the range practicing.
I've always felt that people standing while waving their gun flipped on its side would make excellent targets.

Very much agree. There was a recent incident on a bus where some 60 year-old Viet Nam vet was being hassled by some young punk. Before it was over, the young punk took a real ass-kicking while his friends watched ...from a safe distance.
There is a very good chapter on this phenomenon in Malcolm Gladwell's, "The Tipping Point." In it, he talks about how the New York subways became safer for everyone on the basis of one man, Bernhard Goetz (the "Subway Vigilante"), standing up to the thuggery.
