The issue is how many of them have turned away from him, and the answer is a huge number UNLESS they get driven back into his camp.

I hate perrys’ position on that, hate it!

However - getting rid of Obama is far more important to me.
____________________________________________________________Well, I hate to tell you this but, Obama will mop the floor with Perry in the Debates. Perry is as dumb as a coal bucket in the Debates.

I know you weren't doing this but I would hate to start a feud between Cain and Perry supporters. Cain is awesome and I would love to see him as Perry's VP or Perry as Cain's VP if Perry falters.

I think Perry likes Cain too. These two could do some good things.

I would also ask all Perry supporters to avoid bad mouthing Cain. He will get all the bad mouthing he can handle if he looks like a threat to Palin and he will need all of us to defend the lies and smears that may come his way from that camp.

I agree, with the exception of Romney we need to stay focused on the true enemy Obama.

I guess the poll could b accurate IF one thinks this is accurate also.

According to the poll, the president's overall approval rating, at 45 percent, is essentially unchanged since July. Fifty-two percent of all Americans disapprove of his job performance to date. Obama's ace-in-the-hole remains the fact that he is personally more popular than his policies. According to the poll, his favorable rating, which measures reactions to him personally, is eight points higher than his job approval rating. Fifty-two percent of all Americans disagree with him on issues, but 58 percent believe he has the personality and leadership qualities a president should have. And by a 49 to 43 percent margin, Americans say that personal qualities are more important than issues to their vote for president.

Adult voters is how you skew polls because the majority of them don’t vote. A more interesting breakdown would be how the Republican LIKELY voters voted. In these polls, Herman does really well.

You are very mistaken. The money comes from Government grants and/or scholarships which rightly belong to the American populace and should benefit the American populace.

The Catholic Church teaches that immigrants MUST RESPECT THE RULES OF THEIR HOST COUNTRY.

That means they can’t come and take without legal entrance.

You’re correct. I’ve said multiple times that I have not been impressed with Perry but if he can turn it around and such then so be it. I would easily vote for him over Obama.

The taxpayers are subsidizing the in-state rates via the taxes they’ve paid to the state in order to create and maintain the schools.

Unless there is substantive proof that the illegals have been paying into the system, the taxpayers are paying for this.

Ya know, I'm pretty disappointed in the Rickster so far - but that picture of him should be used on all his campaign posters. Can't imagine any red-blooded healthy woman wouldn't forgive him a lot of transgressions ;-)

(Yes, I know I'm being totally superficial, but darn it, he IS a hunk!)

Yes, he is and is 61 years old. IF Abe Lincoln was running for President...he’d never win...unfortunately today is what people look at.

>>>>wrong, because this poll asked “adult americans” who they’d vote for...not many likely voters. It is bunk.<<<<

About 90% of those “adult Americans” self-identified as “registered voter”.

From the internals of the poll.....

Interviews with 1,010 adult Americans conducted by telephone
by ORC International on September 23-25, 2011. The margin of
sampling error for results based on the total sample is plus or
minus 3 percentage points. The sample also includes 917
interviews among registered voters (plus or minus 3 percentage
points).
The sample includes 807 interviews among landline respondents
and 203 interviews among cell phone respondents.

Gingrich isn’t my top choice in the GOP field, but I’d love to see him match up mano-a-mano with Obama in a debate.

I don’t find that man sexually attractive in the last.

If I did, it wouldn’t matter. I didn’t choose my own husband based on physical attraction. I’ll be damned if that influences my political decision-making.
