Oh, I didn’t catch anything about tossing a squirrel in the first four lines of the story. s/

Well, while the headline is absolutely true (as presented) it is sort of misleading.
It kind of gives the impression that the dead squirrel toss had something to do with the flipped car.
However it does make me recall the song “In a Yugo” where the couple swerved to miss a baby duck and got hit by a truck.

Tossing around a dead squirrel? Well, no offense Mr. Squirrel but...if I were those students I would be going to get myself checked out. They could pick up a real disease with that stupid behavior.

From what I understand, the squirrel was dead and the crowd was drunk. I got that part after the first 3 or 4 paragraphs, but I still don’t get how tossing the dead squirrel tipped over a car. Man, that was some squirrel toss.

UW - LaCrosse.....the saying is “You can’t swing a dead squirrel at UW without hitting a liberal.” Throwing the squirrel negates the phrase.

Reenacting a Beavis and Butthead episode? Beavis tried to make a pet out of a dead squirrel. He taught it to play fetch by tossing it after the stick.

Any idea who those enthusiastic Bavarians are?
I found a Tracht/Schuhplattler website - but this pic isn't there, most of their pics are much older postcards from around the turn of the last century. This looks like the 20s or maybe early 30s.
They all seem to be having a good time though.
