Report: Ford Pulls Anti-Bailout Ad After Pressure From Obama Admin
TheBlaze ^ | 09/27/2011 | J.M. Seidl

Remember that clever little Ford ad that showed an actual buyer being led into a surprise news conference and answering impromptu questions? You know, the one where the buyer says, “I wasn’t going to buy another car that was bailed out by the government. I was going to buy from a manufacturer that’s standing on their own: win, lose, or draw. That’s what America is about is taking the chance to succeed and understanding when you fail that you gotta’ pick yourself up and go back to work.”

Well, I guess Ford didn't conform to the 0's crony capitalism standards so his gang of DC gangsters is showing its fascist/Nazi/commie/good ol' US of A Democrat side.

I guess Ford didn’t want to become the next Gibson Guitar. Here is the link to the re-posted You Tube commercial. Let’s send this around and give it as many hits as we can.

It doesn’t matter anymore. I vow to never buy a anything made by the UAW. Doing so would be like paying for an obscene collect phone call.

Many Fords are no longer made by the UAW. The new Fiesta, for example, is made in Mexico, and it’s far from the only Ford product made in North America that the UAW can’t touch.

It's ok Ford, we all know it anyway. Just traded in my ‘08 Jeep for a Ford F-150 King Ranch. Beautiful inside and out and runs like a champ. (Still have my ‘01 GMC, it's a POM- Pre-Obama Motors)

Wow... a politician in the government pressures a private company to pull an advertisement because it is critical of that administration.

The whole point of the 1st amendment is to protect people’s rights to criticize the government.

Ford should update the ad with specific reference to BO strong arm tactics.
It could be a banner year for Ford!

Quick!
Some FReeper must capture the Ford ad now!

We can always add a trailer addressing the White House intimidation tactics.

The Hill reports the ad is gone from both TV and YouTube. In fact, the only version we could find is from someone using his phone to record the TV (seen above).

If the administration pressures Ford to pull the ad, aren’t they benefiting Ford’s completion and isn’t the government then breaking the monopoly laws being they have connection to Ford completion?

That Ford ad must have really gotten in a good shot at the Obama administration's glass jaw.

No telling what the administration's thugs threatened Ford with to make them pull the ad.

Ford took a huge amount of money from the Federal Government... they just paid it back with interest. But it was likely Ford was insolvent if they didn’t get short term liquidity from the government at that time, as there were no private buyers participating in the auto loans paper market at that time.
