Savage may have been great one day last week but I’m tired of the endless stream of Savage time off. Nice contract he has if he’s able to keep ditchin’ his duties. Summer is over, SAVAGE! And so is your being at the front of my line for 6:00pm ET talk radio. Time for you to take the back seat. If it keeps up? The trunk! HA!
Savage has been on the front lines for how long now battling the enemies of the country both within and without, these crybabies who can't stand to hear Savage promote himself , what the hell have they done for Savage, are they well known by our enemies the world over, have they been unfairly banned too by another so called Western democratic government, do they need body guards, do they have to constantly look over their shoulder everytime they go out in public, do they need to worry when they're in their own home at night that it may be their last night alive, do they have to worry about any number of domestic Muslim fanatics, militant homo fanatics, crazed gang-banging illegal aliens, devious corrupt government liberal officials and any number of enemies that Savage has viciously railed against over the years?
Savage has promoted many causes over the years most recently that of imprisoned soldier Lt. Michael Behenna, so imo Savage has earned his due to promote his own books how and whenever he wants to, his labor of love for us thru the years, for our country and our military is without equal, so the least we can do is give something back to Savage for his years of service to us, and that is quit whining about him promoting himself to his audience because we're all he has, and the radio venue via his show is the only way his book can get promoted, unlike other 'approved' conservatives who get plenty of help to promote their books.
I for one still enjoy the fact that Savage is still on the air considering his health issues and his age and the fact that Savage bores easy when he feels he has met his career goals, and you can have Levin, Hannity, Limbaugh, Beck til the cows come home, I've heard them all, but for me Savage is still #1 and I dread the day when he finally leaves the air. Now for another jog.

Good answer. His work for Lt. Behenna makes up for a lot. And maybe he gets a tad discouraged when things do not change, but even get worse in this world
I don’t ind the book promoting. I mind the time off. Leaving in the midst on an hour. That kind of stuff. Waiting the weekend and then three days in to the next week after he just said his tooth/health problem was finally resolved? Frustrating. His contract can’t be that open ended. Or can it?
At least Kuhner actually does ALL 3 HOURS!

Has the Lieutenant been released? I don't recall hearing Savage talk about him in the past few months and I checked http://www.michaelsavage.wnd.com/. there was nothing that I could find. Of course I could have missed mention of the Lt. but I figured there was still an appeal to aid the Lt. on the web site.

That's what I remember too but I don't think Savage is actively supporting Lt. Behenna any longer. I do not know why he's dropped his support. If he did drop it.
I remember his support to the end for the Marine lieutenant (who appeared on his show at least once I believe plus a family member was on the show once or twice).
Savage also supported southern California policeman but apparently never received any thanks for that one.
I heard kuhnerinc talking about her last nite, she needs to be thrown out of office. Savage is right, these libs really are mentally ill.
I am not a fan of the golfer, wallbanger, guy with a chalkboard, however, it gets very frustrating nite after nite to turn on the radio and not hear Savage or if he is there to hear Savage reading from his book. I understand him and others want to promote their books and that’s fine but nite after nite having him read from the book is just a yawnfest. Another thing that is annoying is to be listening to him live and then all of a sudden it’s a repeat in mid sentence. He only does two hours a nite and a lot of nites he’s off his game. Just when we expect him to come on air and talk about something that is really hot he’s a no show.
He has done a lot of good over the years and has raised money and defended soliders etc etc but, either show up and do the job or just quit already, this showing up sporadically gets tedious after awhile.
