Hopefully part 2 will be available shortly. This guy is terrific. He would trounce Obama in any debate and, more importantly, in the election.

Swell. The You Tube Governor strikes again. All types of talk, but very little in his history to back it. Let Jersey keep him, the country doesn’t need him.

I watched a bit of his speech tonight. His words and presentation were right in line with the forum being at the Reagan Library. Reagan would have been proud.

“but very little in his history to back it.”

My husband and I watched and thought it was fantastic! Spot on. He’s straight forward, offers real solutions and called the President out on not being a leader.

Obama used to give good speeches, too.

Turns out there's more to being a great president than flapping your gums while reading something someone else wrote.

Not to mention, Tubby ain't running... thank goodness.

He’s very popular with young people who tend to be conservative. My 23 year old and his friends have watched Christie videos on youtube for the past year. It dawned on me that he was the first politician they’ve ever seen who was not afraid to confront the media. At work, a bunch of young professionals sitting around on their lunch hour watching youtube vids of Christie, made me realize he would have appeal to young voters.

We must develop a higher quality bench of Republicans to draw from. There is a deep hunger for a Republican to win this year and yet we have not one great candidate to choose from. He should simply be conservative, for border security, and probably some executive experience in government, along with exposure to the national media and a proven ability to articulate his beliefs.

The failure to have a dozen good candidates to draw from is one of the greatest tragedies of our time. I put most of the blame on RINOs and the Republican establishment that pushes liberal/moderate types that end up failing to enthuse the heart of the party.

Once a candidate and he stepped outside that NE bubble and the truth became known about him, Christie would be crispy burnt toast in very short order.

He may well be the best thing that has happened in New Jersey since the Revolution, and I won’t belittle that.

He is well behind Red State America, however, with what needs to happen nationwide, and federally.

We got it a while back, socially and fiscally.

The backwards folks are way ahead.

Actually, the “failure to have a dozen good candidates” is directly because of the failure of a two party system. We were warned against having two parties, and it’s time to get that right. Voting for the lesser of two evils still gives you evil. I will never again vote for a non-conservative, Republican or not.

Please fill me in. So far I know this.He has said or done:

Gun controls are necessary.

Ground Zero Mosque is OK.

Backed Bush’s Amnesty Program. Said Illegals aren’t illegal.

Backed Mike Castle in DE.

Supports the Global Warming hoax. (Tax and Cap)

Refuses to back the repeal of Obamacare.

Said he is no more qualified to be President after a year as Gov as Obummer is in his short spell as Senator.

Was a devotee and cheerleader for the hard Conservative principle of Tom Keane back in the day.

Backs Obummers ridiculous big Gov’t education program “Race to the Top”.

Did I miss something?

Christie is 20% Conservative, 80% Liberal, and 100% big-mouthed (and that is about the only part I like).

He is Islamist-friendly, Illegal Immigrant -friendly, and just as wrong on many other issues. He can be fun to listen to when he slams Dems -but his views are many issues are not that far from the Leftist Liberals.
