"Palinhalers". That's a perfect description of some here. It's almost idol worship, very offputting, and certainly not conservative.
I think you need to re-read what you quoted. We agree.
I left Sarah last night.
My wife leans over and says, “She sure is hard to listen to.”
And she was right.
Sarah can be great in a speech, when she is careful to make pauses between thoughts, but her run-on “let-me-talk-as-fast-as-i-can” stream of consciousness schtick just isn’t going to cut it.
I still believe she was an excellent governor and has lots of guts, and I agree with her on virtually all the issues, but the ability to communicate is fundamental to getting the job, and in the interviews, she can’t seem to exude calmness and clarity or understand the immense value of brevity.
Did she keep saying “Herb Cain?” Or was that just my bad ears?

She is delusional (being as polite as I can be)if she genuinely thinks that having the title of President of the United States would be more limiting vis a vis actually making change than sitting in the studio in the house by the lake would be.
She’s kidding herself to think she will have a voice that anyone pays attention to if she at this point does not run. It’s way past the point if she isn’t running for her to announce to everyone she isn’t running. She knows what the field is, enough already!
Have Rick Perry’s kids written a book?
How about Herman Cain’s kids?
Just asking...

Well, that certainly clears things up.

So, if she doesn't run will it mean that she doesn't love this country?
Or will your opinion change to fit the reality?
If she isn't running though (but she's in a running suit!!!), what other move does she have to stay relevant and keep her earning power? It sounds ridiculous to most people to hear her say that a media analyst can impact more positive change than the President, but for her core believers, she needs to somehow keep an image of being 'Undefeated'. It's a tough spot for Palin. If she runs and doesn't win the nomination, which I think is more likely than not, her image takes a big hit. If she doesn't run, she because just another voice on the sidelines. It's a tough spot to be in, and her rambling answers last night, and calling herself a "maverick" and "rogue", showed a hint of desperation. She is polling about 7% with 90+% name recognition; announcing her candidacy will not immediately put her in the #1 spot.
It sounded like Herb to me, but some here have said it was Herm.
I think she just doesn't want to run and is having a tough time figuring out how to let down her many fans.
I've gotten tired of the "is she, isn't she" nonsense to the point where I just want her to raise money and campaign for conservative candidates. She still has a role to play but elective office isn't it, IMO.
I heard HerB so I listened again while watching her lips...B does not look like M.....she said B...three times in a row.
I did the same thing. I admit I can't tell if it's Herb or Herm. That said, does anybody call him Herm? I've never heard anyone else call him Herm. I'll assume she knows his name is Herman, though, and was calling him Herm.
Why are you wasting precious time on something you consider beyond tedious?
Just curious ... maybe it’s not her, but it’s you.
You’ve been saying that forever, and it’s just not true.
Her popularity right now is real, but it is also highly dependent on the perception that she is a possible presidential candidate.
If all she cared about was money, she would run to increase her already stunningly high profile and value as speaker, etc.
“She is either preparing us for the let down of her not running or.....//..... to run to save the republic...”
“Resident Nostradamus of FR speaks....” . Just making an observation, I’ll leave you to place your own bet. My bet is she is in but praying hard for strength and wisdom.
the guzzling of wine explains a lot, but not everything.
Did you wake up with an ugly attitude? Or did you cultivate it?
She did the same (a variation) in Wisconsin after Scott Walker faced down the unions and won. In her speech to the Wisconsin TP she referred to him twice as "your governor" but could not get herself to say his name.....very petty
Memo to the “she’s not running” crowd: The voices in your head are not credible sources. And even if they were, going by this thread I’m not even sure your ears are that good at TV audio at regular volume, let alone whatever the voices in your head are whispering to you.
