I’m a sports fanatic, and watch all major sports, except soccer. Baseball is, however, my favorite. Unfortunately for me, the Reds do soooo much better when I don’t watch. As with most things in life, apparently, I’m a curse to my beloved Reds. LOL I even picked another team for a while. . .needless to say, the Braves haven’t fared so well since.

An aside -
As a young child of 5 or 6, I wrote Marge Schott every single year begging to be a bat girl; and offering to do whatever tasks I could do for the honor. I had the priveledge of meeting Ms. Schott shortly before her death, at a fundraiser for George W. Bush. We all “donated” to meet Barbara Bush, but I spent the entire time talking to Ms. Schott. Her reputation and the perception about her in the media couldn’t be more wrong. She was a lovely lady and she was actually a pretty solid conservative.

I suppose the NYT was joking, too. BTW, elections have been suspended. Paterson and Daniels both denied House districts prompt special elections after vacancies. NY-29 missed hundreds of House votes, some of great import.

BTW, I guarantee that what Paterson and Daniels did to their House districts is giving the 'Rats the idea. NY-29 went to court and lost. Folks should check to see how state election laws are written, just to ensure the law can't be used against the citizenry.
