Statement by the Press Secretary on the Visit of President Porfirio Lobo of Honduras:

President Obama will host President Porfirio Lobo of Honduras at the White House on Wednesday, October 5. The President looks forward to discussing a broad range of bilateral and regional economic and security issues during their Oval Office meeting. The President also welcomes the opportunity to underscore the strong bonds of friendship between the American and Honduran people, as well as President Lobo’s efforts to restore democratic and constitutional order in Honduras and the country’s return to the Organization of American States earlier this year.

I find this quite troubling. All who followed the U.S. treatment of Honduras during the ouster of Mel Zelaya know that Obozo is the enemy of free people in Honduras.

I feel that the new president Mr. Lobo is selling Honduras out. He has recently promoted recognition of a Palestinian state by the U.N. Totally out of character for Hondurans.

Mr. Lobo recently made wholesale changes in the police and security forces in Honduras.

Today I read a Reuters article (in Spanish) discussing Obama helping Mr. Lobo with police investigations. Can you imagine the Holder Justice Department helping with police investigations in Honduras.

There is something terribly wrong going on. More treachery by Obozo is guaranteed.

When I first read the title line I thought it must have something to do with Cinema Insomnia.

What do you suspect? You say Lobo is “selling the people out.” How, exactly/ I admit that I know very little about Honduras. Is there a great deal of drug-related crime?

If I were Lobo I think my first and innermost impulse upon meeting O’Dumbo” would be to kick him square in the nuts! Can you just picture that, O’Bumma grabbing his crotch with his eyes bugging out and his ears flapping? We need a cartoonist!

Not until recently. It is a poor country. No oil but heavy agricultural production. Always before on the the best allies in Central America.

The ousted Pres. Mel Zelaya was reported to be flying planes with drugs out of his operation daily.

You are absolutely on the right track. What Team Obama did with Honduras was frightening for those of us who support freedom; Team Obama is clearly on the side of the actual and wannabe Castro/Chavez, etc. of the world. Thanks for the post.

I fear the same. This does not bode well.

It might have, I have been suspicious that those were intended for Mel Zelaya’s supporters. But they might have gotten confiscated by the good guys.

Zelaya is a real maggot. Sorry drug running traitor.

The Commies (including Obozo) want to turn a free Honduras into a Commie holding. Obozo will do all he can to make it so.
